Patek Philippe’s broad retail-price increase in 2024 took effect on February 1 and averaged about 7%, according to contemporaneous watch-industry reporting. That was an average—not a uniform increase for every reference or market. Reported figures varied by model and region, and Singapore prices also reflected a tax change. A separate report described selective Nautilus and Aquanaut adjustments later in the year.
How much did Patek Philippe prices go up in 2024?
WatchPro reported that Patek Philippe’s new prices took effect February 1, 2024, and averaged around 7% across the portfolio. The publication said a company spokesperson confirmed the new prices, but its report did not provide a complete model-by-model price list. WatchPro’s February 5 report is therefore useful for the broad timing and average, not for determining the exact change to every watch.
Hodinkee described the average as just under 7%. Its own quick tally found an 8.3% increase for the ref. 5930P World Time Flyback Chronograph; that individual figure is Hodinkee’s tally, not a published official percentage for the reference. Hodinkee’s February report likewise does not amount to a complete worldwide schedule.
Fratello also reported a 7% international average effective February 1. These contemporaneous reports broadly agree on the scale of the change, but they do not establish an official global mean calculated from a complete, publicly available reference-by-reference dataset. Fratello’s coverage notes that even a similar percentage can mean a substantial nominal increase when applied to an already high list price.

Did every Patek Philippe model increase by 7%?
No. The reported average should not be read as a fixed 7% increase on every watch. Hodinkee’s 8.3% tally for the 5930P is one example of model-level variation. Regional reports also show why a single percentage cannot describe every price change: currency and tax treatment can affect the figures buyers see.
Singapore figures included a tax change
Singapore Watch Insider reported February increases of 8.04% to 8.62% for the Nautilus models it covered and 7.96% to 8.59% for its covered Aquanaut models. It stated that those Singapore prices already included the 1% increase in goods and services tax that took effect in Singapore in January 2024. These ranges apply to the outlet’s reported models and market; they should not be compared directly with another country’s figures without accounting for currency and tax basis. Singapore Watch Insider’s February report gives that regional context.

When did Patek Philippe raise prices in 2024?
The broad reported increase took effect on February 1, 2024. Later in the year, a separate Singapore Watch Insider report, published October 6 and describing September changes, reported selective increases in its Nautilus and Aquanaut coverage: approximately 1% for steel models and around 3% for gold models. It said 2024 releases were unaffected. This is regional outlet reporting, not evidence of a universal September price schedule. The September report describes the models and market it covered.
Which Patek Philippe models had the biggest 2024 price increase?
Among the specific model-level figures in the cited coverage, Hodinkee reported an 8.3% increase for the ref. 5930P World Time Flyback Chronograph. Singapore Watch Insider’s reported ranges reached 8.62% for covered Nautilus models and 8.59% for covered Aquanaut models, with the important qualification that its Singapore prices included the January GST change. These figures have different scopes and tax contexts, so they do not establish a definitive ranking of the largest increases worldwide.

WatchPro reported that the February catalogue update coincided with discontinuations, including the Aquanaut Travel Time ref. 5164A and Nautilus references 5980/1R, 5712R, and 5712G. Hodinkee and Fratello also covered the catalogue changes. Their timing alongside the price update does not show that discontinuations caused the increases.

Did the retail increase affect resale prices?
A retail list-price change and a secondary-market asking price are different measures. Fratello’s February 2024 examples showed no uniform relationship: it cited a Chrono24 asking-price example above retail for the Aquanaut Chronograph ref. 5968A and discussed Complications models offered below list. Those were publication-time asking prices, not confirmed completed transactions or current market values. They do not establish that every Patek Philippe trades above retail or that the February retail increase caused resale prices to rise.
