The M-1 Dune is a field-style wristwatch from Aera Instruments. It is unrelated to the similarly named Aera home-fragrance diffusers. Case size, fit and materials
Time+Tide reported a 39 mm case diameter and 47.6 mm lug-to-lug length. Diameter gives a broad sense of the watch’s footprint, but lug-to-lug is often more useful for judging whether the ends may overhang a wrist. The reported 13.14 mm thickness is another fit consideration, particularly if you prefer a watch that sits low beneath a cuff.

Movement and winding
The watch uses a manually wound Sellita SW216-1. Time+Tide reports a 42-hour power reserve, so the watch will need winding again after it runs down; it is not an automatic movement that replenishes power through wrist motion. The article also reports a factory-adjustment range of −7 to +20 seconds per day. That is the stated adjustment range, not a measured accuracy result for every individual watch.
Dial, strap and design details
The dusty pink dial is described as inspired by British SAS desert camouflage. It has luminous markers and hands, plus a small-seconds display at six o’clock. The reported strap is grey suede leather, attached at a 20 mm lug width with quick-release spring bars.

A 20 mm alternate strap is a plausible replacement route, but check the strap’s attachment and spring-bar compatibility before ordering; width alone does not establish fit. The source describes quick-release spring bars on the supplied strap.
