What’s new with AirPods Pro 3?
Apple describes a redesigned fit and new multiport acoustic architecture, along with next-generation Adaptive EQ and personalized Transparency. The foam-infused tips come in five sizes, including XXS. Apple says its fit design drew on more than 10,000 ear scans, over 100,000 hours of user research, and a dataset of more than 300 million points; these are company-reported research figures, not independent evidence that the earbuds will fit everyone.

AirPods Pro 3 also add workout heart-rate sensing and support Live Translation. Apple claims up to twice as much effective ANC as AirPods Pro 2 and four times as much noise removal as the original AirPods Pro. Do AirPods Pro 3 work with Android?
Yes. Apple says AirPods Pro 3 can work as wireless Bluetooth headphones with non-Apple devices, including Android phones, but functionality may be limited. Do you need an iPhone for Live Translation?

Apple lists a heart-rate sensor for workouts and says the Fitness app on iPhone can track heart rate and more than 50 workout types. Apple also lists Hearing Test, Hearing Aid, Automatic Conversation Boost when Hearing Aid is enabled, and Hearing Protection. The cited product information does not establish clinical performance, so do not treat the earbuds as a medical substitute.
