Alpina lists two configurations—a stainless-steel bracelet and a rubber strap—with different references and market-specific prices.
What is a regulator watch?
A regulator watch displays hours, minutes and seconds separately rather than using the familiar arrangement of several hands sharing one central axis. On this Alpiner Extreme, the central hand shows minutes, a subdial at 10 o’clock shows hours, and a subdial at 6 o’clock shows seconds. Alpina describes this as a separated display.

- Choose by configuration: match the reference to the bracelet or rubber strap you want; the two versions have distinct reference numbers.
- Check local pricing: use the Alpina page for your market, since the published amounts vary by country and reference.
- Interpret water resistance as a stated specification: Alpina lists 200 m / 20 ATM, but the cited sources are product pages rather than independent water-resistance tests.
- Allow for the regulator layout: the hours are read from the upper subdial, not from a conventional central hour hand.
Alpina’s cited pages publish the specifications above, but they do not establish real-world accuracy, comfort, durability or performance. Those qualities should not be inferred from the specification list alone.
