Alpina introduced the Startimer Pilot Heritage Chronograph in September 2019 as the first chronograph in its aviation-inspired Startimer collection. Its reported launch price was CHF 2,895 / EUR 2,895; that is historical pricing, not a verified current asking price. The watch pairs a 42 mm steel case with a single-pusher AL-727 chronograph, and was offered in three dial-and-hand configurations.
What is the Startimer Pilot Heritage Chronograph?
The Startimer Pilot Heritage Chronograph is a 2019 Alpina pilot-style watch with a single-pusher chronograph. Time and Watches described it at introduction as “the first chronograph model” in the Startimer collection, based on a movement designed by La Joux-Perret. Which references and dial colors were offered?
The three references differ in reported dial colors and hand treatment. The launch coverage does not establish technical differences among them; each is identified with the AL-727 movement and the same general model description.

Alpina’s reviewed UK and Netherlands Startimer collection pages show other models, but not this exact Heritage Chronograph. That absence from those visible listings does not establish that the watch cannot be found through dealers or on the secondary market. No current exact-reference price is established here. Current Startimer watches should not be confused with the 2019 chronograph. For example, Alpina’s UK page describes a distinct Pilot Automatic with a 40 mm steel case, AL-525 movement, 68-hour power reserve and 10 ATM water resistance.
