Amazfit launched the Bip 6 in 2025 as a $79.99 U.S. smartwatch with a large AMOLED display, built-in GPS, Bluetooth calling and a manufacturer-rated battery life of up to 14 days. That headline figure is a controlled typical-use estimate—not a guarantee, and not an indication that the watch can make calls without a phone.
Launch date, price and availability
Technology coverage reported the Bip 6 launch on April 1, 2025. Amazfit’s U.S. store lists it at $79.99; that is a U.S. price and can change by region, retailer, promotion or stock status. Amazfit cited its website and Amazon as launch sales channels. Check the official product page for current availability. Colors listed by Amazfit include Black, Charcoal, Stone, Red and Blush, although selection can vary by market.
The Bip 6 is a new budget model in the Bip range, positioned around everyday notifications, fitness tracking and long battery life rather than cellular connectivity or a full smartwatch app platform.

Does the Bip 6 support Bluetooth calling?
Yes—but calls are routed through a paired phone. The Bip 6 has a microphone and speaker, yet it has no cellular or LTE service. Your phone must remain nearby and connected over Bluetooth, so the watch cannot replace a phone for independent calls.
Amazfit also advertises call notifications and text-related replies, including voice-to-text and a touch keyboard. Exact reply behavior depends on the phone platform and notification app.
Rank #2

How to enable calls
- Install and open the Zepp app, then pair the watch.
- Open Device and select Amazfit Bip 6.
- Choose Device Application Settings, then Phone.
- Enable Bluetooth calls and complete the additional call-audio pairing if prompted.
- Test an incoming and outgoing call.
If calls appear on the watch but audio stays on the phone, check that the call-audio Bluetooth profile is connected, not just the basic watch connection. Updating Zepp and the phone, allowing microphone and notification permissions, removing and re-pairing Bluetooth, disabling aggressive background-app restrictions, and keeping the phone within normal Bluetooth range address the common failures. The complete path is in the user manual.
What “14 days” of battery life means
Amazfit’s “up to 14 days” rating uses a defined typical-use scenario: all-day wear, heart-rate readings every 10 minutes, sleep tracking, a static watch face, about 150 messages per day, roughly 30 minutes of Bluetooth calls per week, three call notifications daily, about 100 raise-to-wake activations per day, five minutes of bright-screen use daily and three 30-minute GPS workouts weekly.
Rank #3
- Sleek Design & Customizable Display: A durable stainless steel frame, 1.91" high-resolution vibrant anti-fingerprint screen, and 70+ smartwatch faces for a stylish, personalized look.
- Up to 11 Days Battery Life: Enjoy up to 11 days of use, or 26 days in battery-saver mode—no need for constant charging.
- 70+ Downloadable Mini Apps: Access a wide range of apps and games through Zepp OS 3.0, with easy installation and removal.
- Track Your Fitness: Over 120 sports modes to track steps, distance, calories, and more—keep moving, stay motivated.
- Reliable Health Monitoring: Monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, and sleep, plus get reminders to stay active throughout the day. You can even track menstrual and fertile periods.
| Mode | Advertised endurance | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Typical use | Up to 14 days | Moderate settings matching Amazfit’s stated scenario |
| Heavy use | Up to six days | More GPS, calls, notifications, screen use or health sampling |
| Battery saver | Up to 26 days | Reduced features and activity |
| Continuous GPS | Up to 32 hours | Endurance figure, not a claim about GPS accuracy |
Always-on display use, high brightness, frequent calls, dense notifications, intensive workouts, higher sampling rates and repeated Bluetooth reconnections can reduce runtime substantially. Treat 14 days as an upper estimate, not a guaranteed minimum.
Display, design and water resistance
The large 1.97-inch AMOLED should make notifications and workout data easy to read, while the claimed 2,000-nit peak brightness is useful on paper for outdoor visibility. Independent outdoor performance is not established by that specification alone. At 27.9 grams without the strap, the watch is light, though its rectangular case may feel large on smaller wrists. Two physical buttons provide an alternative to touch controls.
Rank #4
- LARGE 2.07" AMOLED DISPLAY: Maximize visibility with a massive, bright 2.07-inch screen. This everyday smartwatch transitions effortlessly from daily wear to intense workouts, with its lightweight aluminum alloy body and a clean two-button layout.
- 20-DAY BATTERY LIFE: Say goodbye to nightly charging, with up to 20 days of typical use. This long battery life delivers reliable performance to track your health, fitness, and daily routines without interruption.
- 4GB ONBOARD STORAGE: Keep your essentials right on your wrist. With ample space for offline maps, this fitness tracker allows you to leave your phone behind and enjoy quick, easy access to your media while you explore.
- GPS TRACKING & OFFLINE MAPS: Download free detailed maps from the Zepp App, with turn-by-turn directions and off-track alerts. Backed by 5 satellite systems for fast GPS connection, your route will be tracked with precision.
- HYBRID TRAINING IN ZEPP APP: Improve long-term performance with a balanced system of endurance, strength, and recovery. The subscription-free Zepp App acts as your all-in-one hub for training and nutrition, providing actionable insights.
Its 5 ATM rating is water resistance, not a promise of protection for diving, high-pressure water or every water sport. Use it only within Amazfit’s guidance.

Built-in GPS can record outdoor workouts without the phone continuously supplying location data, and Amazfit lists more than 140 workout modes, smart strength-training functions, AI coaching and five satellite systems. GPS results vary with buildings, trees, weather, satellite visibility and activity type; the 32-hour figure describes battery endurance rather than precision.

The BioTracker sensor supports heart-rate, blood-oxygen (SpO₂), sleep, stress, activity and recovery-oriented metrics. These are wellness and fitness estimates, not medical diagnoses or a substitute for regulated medical equipment.
Phone compatibility and software limits
The Bip 6 works with Android 7.0-or-later and iOS 14.0-or-later phones through the Zepp app. You should expect to create or use a Zepp account and grant Bluetooth, notification and background-operation permissions. Older phones that meet the operating-system minimum can still behave differently because of manufacturer battery restrictions or Bluetooth implementation.
Amazfit lists integrations including Strava, adidas Running, TrainingPeaks through Terra, komoot, Relive, Google Fit and Apple Health. Support is selective; Samsung Health and MyFitnessPal are not supported in the same way. Some functions, such as camera control, can be iPhone-specific.
The watch can control music playing on the phone, but it does not install or run third-party music services such as Spotify or Pandora directly. Buyers seeking a broad app catalogue, independent music storage, advanced maps or cellular safety features should consider a higher-tier platform.

|---|---|
| Low-cost smartwatch with calls | Strong, provided the phone is nearby |

| Casual fitness and everyday wellness | Suitable, with non-medical measurements |
| Phone-free calling | Poor fit; there is no LTE |
| Deep iPhone integration | Functional, but less integrated than Apple Watch |
| Extensive third-party apps or music | Limited |

How it compares by use case
- Apple Watch SE: Better for iPhone integration, apps and safety features, but normally requires more frequent charging and costs more, especially with cellular service.
- Fitbit Charge 6: Better for a fitness-band form factor and Fitbit’s ecosystem; it is not a direct match for the Bip 6’s large screen and wrist calling.
- Samsung Galaxy Watch: Better for Android users wanting richer Google/Samsung integration and, on supported models, cellular options; it generally costs more and lasts fewer days.
- Amazfit Active 2: Worth comparing if you want to stay with Amazfit while considering a different design and feature set.
The Bip 6 is best understood as an inexpensive, long-lasting connected smartwatch—not a phone replacement, medical device or full competitor to Apple Watch and Wear OS platforms.
