Is the Apple Watch Series 10 screen bigger?

Apple describes the screen as a wide-angle OLED that is up to 40 percent brighter than Series 9 when viewed at an angle. That is an angled-view comparison; it does not mean the display is 40 percent brighter in every setting. On supported watch faces, the always-on display can refresh once per second rather than once per minute, allowing a seconds hand to remain visible.

How much thinner is Series 10?
Apple says Series 10 is nearly 10 percent thinner than Series 7, 8, and 9. Apple also says the aluminum versions weigh up to 10 percent less than the aluminum Series 9, while titanium weighs almost 20 percent less than the Series 9 stainless-steel model.

Apple redesigned the metal back and integrated the antenna into the housing. The titanium comparison is specifically against Series 9 stainless steel, not against a Series 9 titanium model.
Battery life and faster charging
Apple retained an 18-hour all-day battery-life rating for Series 10. Apple says about 30 minutes of charging can bring the watch to 80 percent, 15 minutes can provide up to eight hours of normal use, and eight minutes can support up to eight hours of sleep tracking.

Sleep apnea notifications
Apple introduced sleep apnea notifications with Series 10. Apple describes the feature as helping identify signs of sleep apnea using overnight metrics, including heart rate, respiratory rate, and wrist temperature. A notification is not a diagnosis; do not treat it as a substitute for professional medical advice.
Is Apple Watch Series 10 worth upgrading from Series 9?
There is no single answer for every Series 9 owner. Consider whether the larger display, thinner case, or faster charging would address something you want to change, and compare the case size and material that suit you. Apple says the display area is up to 9 percent larger and the case nearly 10 percent thinner than Series 9; this research does not establish current prices or independent value comparisons.
For owners of older models, compare the display and case specifications for your current watch with Series 10, then consider your charging routine and whether the new sleep apnea notification feature is relevant to you.
