What the November 2025 deal covered
The Verge’s Brandon Russell reported the 42mm GPS model at $279 and the 46mm GPS model at $309 on Amazon, with each price $120 below its stated regular price. The 46mm offer matched a discount seen over the summer, and the report noted that stock was dwindling at the time. Its use of “currently” referred to November 13, 2025—not to today.

The Verge called the 42mm price an all-time low in its November 13, 2025 report. A separate MacRumors report from April 27, 2025 described earlier GPS lows of $299 for 42mm and $329 for 46mm. Those dates and configurations matter: “lowest price to date” is a claim about the price history available to a particular report, not a promise that the same price is available now or applies to every Series 10 version.
What to check before buying one now
The reported prices were for GPS models only. They do not establish prices for GPS + Cellular versions or titanium cases, nor do they confirm present Amazon inventory. Compare listings on the same day and check each detail rather than relying on a headline deal claim:

- Size: Confirm whether the listing is for 42mm or 46mm; the two reported prices differed by $30.
- Connectivity and case: Verify GPS versus GPS + Cellular and the case material. The historical deal figures apply only to GPS models.
- Seller and condition: Check who sells and ships the watch and whether it is new, refurbished, or renewed. A lower price for a different condition is not a direct comparison.
- Band fit: Check the included band’s size range and compatibility with the watch before ordering.
- Price and stock: Confirm the live price, availability, and return terms on the retailer’s page. The 2025 report’s stock warning says nothing about current inventory.
Is the Series 10 still a sensible buy?
Apple originally released the Series 10 in September 2024. Its product listing specifies an S10 SiP, 50-meter water resistance, IP6X dust resistance, up to 18 hours of battery life in normal use, and up to 36 hours in Low Power Mode. Those battery figures are Apple’s stated specifications, not independent test results. Compatibility requires an iPhone XS or later—including iPhone SE (2nd generation) or later—with iOS 18 or later. Check Apple’s Series 10 specifications against the iPhone and software you plan to use.
Whether it is a good purchase depends on the current price of the exact model you want and whether its features suit you. The historical $279 and $309 prices can serve as dated reference points for 42mm and 46mm GPS models, respectively; they cannot tell you whether waiting for another sale will pay off.
