The company calls it the most refined DBX yet, citing revised suspension and powertrain calibration plus added cabin sound insulation. Its headline performance remains substantial: Aston Martin claims 727 PS, 900 Nm, 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a 193 mph top speed. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent test results.
Where the DBX GT fits in the range
Aston Martin positions the DBX GT for buyers who prioritize elegance, comfort and a more luxurious cabin, while the DBX S is the more overtly sporting choice. That is the marque’s distinction; the available launch coverage does not include an independent comparison of their ride quality or noise levels. The GT shares the DBX S’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and faster steering ratio, but its chassis and powertrain have been calibrated with everyday smoothness in mind.
Performance: same headline pace, tuned for the road
Aston Martin lists a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 rated at 727 PS and 900 Nm, paired with a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission. The company quotes 3.1 seconds for 0–60 mph and a 193 mph top speed. These are manufacturer-stated specifications; no independent road test was available in the launch sources.
How Aston Martin says it improved ride comfort
The GT has revised damper calibration and a unique damper-valve system. Aston Martin says the valves are intended to filter high-frequency, low-amplitude disturbances, including coarse road surfaces and rumble strips. The company also describes spring-rate behavior adjusted by drive mode, a revised transmission-mount bush and two longitudinal dampers connecting the body and rear subframe.

These are engineering changes and claimed benefits, not independently measured results. No comparative road test establishes how much more compliant the GT feels than the DBX S or other luxury SUVs.
Cabin noise and interior details
Aston Martin says it added sound-deadening material in the doors, wheel-arch areas and rear load space, and fitted acoustic laminated glass to the rear side windows and deep-pile carpets. The company reports a 13% improvement in Articulation Index, a measure it describes as related to how easily occupants can hold a conversation while travelling. That figure is Aston Martin’s own 2026 claim, not an independently verified measurement.

Inside, the GT is distinguished by plush seating, embroidery, a choice of trim combinations and a panoramic glass roof. The stated aim is a more crafted, luxurious atmosphere rather than the sharper sporting emphasis of the S.
Exterior and wheel options
GT-specific exterior details include a double-vaned grille, two-piece metal side strakes with contrasting polished and satin finishes, body-colour lower bumper, sills and rear diffuser, and horizontal quad exhaust finishers. Aston Martin lists newly designed 22-inch forged wheels as standard.

Aston Martin says first DBX GT deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026. The 1 October 2026 launch announcement does not give a price, and a confirmed regional order guide or transaction price was not established in the available launch coverage. Buyers will need to check with an authorized Aston Martin retailer for local ordering and pricing details.

What “most refined” means here
“Most refined” is Aston Martin’s positioning, supported in its announcement by specific hardware, calibration and acoustic changes. The 13% Articulation Index improvement is the only notable quantified refinement claim in the launch materials, and it is manufacturer-reported. Without an independent drive or comparative test, it is not yet possible to establish objectively whether the GT is quieter or more comfortable than the DBX S or rival SUVs.
