Audemars Piguet’s 2026 Royal Oak release includes four watches: two openworked models and two yellow-gold Selfwinding models with natural malachite dials. The openworked pair comes in 37 mm yellow gold or 39 mm titanium with Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) components; the malachite pair is available in 37 mm and 41 mm. Fratello reported launch prices of €69,000 to €74,600 for the malachite watches and €93,800 for the 37 mm openworked model. The 39 mm Jumbo’s price was listed as available on request, and those launch figures are not confirmed current prices.
What are the new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak models for 2026?
The collection described in the February 2026 launch coverage comprises four references. Two expose their movements through openworked construction; the other two pair yellow gold with natural malachite, a green stone whose markings vary from dial to dial. Audemars Piguet’s official 2026 video confirms the 37 mm and 41 mm malachite models in 18-carat yellow gold.

All four models are reported at 50 m water resistance. That rating is a specification, not a recommendation for swimming or any other particular activity. How do the two openworked Royal Oaks differ?
37 mm Double Balance Wheel Openworked
Reference 15467BA.OO.1256BA.01 has a 37 mm 18K yellow-gold case and Calibre 3132. Its double-balance arrangement is the defining visual and mechanical feature, presented in an openworked movement. Fratello reports a 45-hour power reserve, a 4 Hz frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour), 10 mm thickness and 50 m water resistance. Its reported launch price was €93,800.

39 mm Jumbo Extra-Thin Openworked
Reference 16204XT.OO.1240XT.01 is larger across the case at 39 mm, but its 8.1 mm thickness gives it the notably slim profile in this group. The case is titanium, with a Bulk Metallic Glass bezel and bracelet studs; Fratello describes BMG as a high-strength, corrosion-resistant metal alloy used on exposed components. It runs rhodium-plated Calibre 7124 and has a screw-locked crown and 50 m water resistance. Fratello listed its price as available on request.
The choice is therefore not simply between two openworked dials: the 37 mm watch combines yellow gold and a double-balance display, while the 39 mm Jumbo emphasizes titanium/BMG construction and extra-thin proportions. Case diameter alone does not determine fit; wrist shape, bracelet sizing and personal preference matter.

What is the difference between the 37 mm and 41 mm malachite Royal Oak?
37 mm Selfwinding, reference 15553BA.OO.1356BA.04
This 18K yellow-gold model uses Calibre 5909, with a reported 60-hour power reserve. It measures 9.3 mm thick and is rated to 50 m water resistance. Fratello reported a launch price of €69,000.
41 mm Selfwinding, reference 15513BA.OO.1320.01
The larger version is also 18K yellow gold, but it uses Calibre 4309 and has a reported 70-hour reserve. Its listed thickness is 10.5 mm; it also has a sapphire display caseback and 50 m water resistance. Fratello reported a launch price of €74,600.
