The Baume & Mercier Riviera Perpetual Calendar is a 40 mm steel limited edition introduced in 2023 for the Riviera collection’s 50th anniversary. Its perpetual calendar accounts for leap years and different month lengths, while its automatic Baumatic movement is specified with a 120-hour power reserve. What the Riviera Perpetual Calendar does
A perpetual calendar is designed to keep the date aligned with the calendar through months of 28, 29, 30 or 31 days, including leap years. Baume & Mercier defines the complication in its technical guide as accounting for leap years and automatically correcting the date for each month length.
That function is distinct from the movement’s power reserve. Baume & Mercier states that the Baumatic automatic movement provides approximately 120 hours, or five days, when fully wound; this is the running reserve, not a claim that the calendar never needs attention. The brand’s regional pages identify two references. Their dial descriptions and page status differ, so use the reference number—not just the collection name—when checking a listing.

The official US page for 10742 currently carries “Coming soon” wording, while the English page for 10786 says the watch is no longer available. Neither establishes current global availability. A current retail price or secondary-market price is not confirmed here; verify a dated listing in the relevant country rather than relying on older articles or an unverified marketplace result.
Before buying, confirm the reference and dial, seller reputation and authorization, condition, included box and papers, warranty, return terms, and whether the bracelet configuration matches the description.
