The GPHG’s Rotary entry, listed under reference B022 with a September 2020 launch, instead describes the movement as based on ETA caliber 2824 and specifies a 42-hour power reserve. Behrens says the Rotary was nominated for the GPHG Challenge and won a gold award at the 5th China (Blue Light Cup-Zhangzhou) Watch Design Competition. The GPHG entry records a September 2020 launch. It also lists a historical price of 3,600 CHF including VAT; that figure is not a current price quote.
Is the Behrens Rotary worth buying?
It is most compelling for someone who specifically wants an unconventional display and is comfortable evaluating a relatively specialized mechanical watch.
