What makes the Rafale Solo Display edition distinctive?
The visual idea is restrained rather than overtly colorful: a matte black dial and black ceramic case carry the aviation cues. Bell & Ross says the dial’s aircraft silhouette and graphics draw on the Rafale and cockpit instruments. The brand describes the watch as a tribute to the Rafale Solo Display, which it identifies as the official display team of the French Air and Space Force.
The strongest color accents are functional-looking details: orange chronograph hands, a yellow dotted detail at the date window, and push buttons engraved “START” and “RESET” with orange and yellow lacquer. The numerals, indexes, and hour and minute hands are treated with green-emitting Super-LumiNova X1. These are manufacturer descriptions; they do not establish cockpit suitability or performance under flight conditions.
How the chronograph and dial are laid out
The BR-03 Chrono uses a conventional three-register-style layout, with a small seconds display at 3 o’clock and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock. The central chronograph seconds hand records elapsed seconds, while the tachymeter scale sits on the flange. A date display is also included.

The black ceramic case is the model’s defining material choice; the listed water resistance is 100 metres. These specifications alone do not establish how the watch performs in particular activities or conditions.

Which straps come with it?
Bell & Ross lists two black strap options: perforated rubber and ultra-resistant synthetic canvas bearing Rafale Solo Display branding. The buckle is a pin or barb style in black PVD-finished steel. Wording for the canvas material varies slightly between the brand’s regional product pages.
Price and availability depend on the market
Bell & Ross regional listings showed different prices and stock statuses when checked on October 8, 2026. The Australian page displayed A$9,900 and “Unavailable”; the Malaysian page displayed RM 27,500 and “In Stock.” The French/UK listing showed £5,400 and unavailable, while the German/EUR listing showed €6,300 and unavailable. Who is this edition for?
Its appeal is clearest for someone drawn to the Rafale display-team connection, black ceramic, and high-contrast chronograph styling. The 500-piece production limit identifies the size of the run; it does not establish how many have sold, future resale value, or performance advantages. Bell & Ross also cites its partnership with the Patrouille de France display team since 2021, but that background should not be confused with the start date of any Rafale Solo Display partnership.
