Two configurations, one ceramic BR 05
Bell & Ross describes the BR 05 as a contemporary, dashboard-inspired design and presents the Black Ceramic as an extension of that collection. Its official pages list two versions. The specifications below are manufacturer-published, not independent measurements.

The bracelet version keeps the all-ceramic look continuous across the wrist, while the rubber version changes the contact surface and uses a different clasp. The available evidence does not establish which wears more comfortably or lasts longer; those judgments depend on the wearer and cannot be inferred from the materials list alone.

Bell & Ross says ceramic is corrosion-resistant, harder and lighter than steel, and hypoallergenic. Those are manufacturer claims, not proof that this watch is scratch-proof; the cited material does not report independent scratch-resistance, comfort or long-term durability testing. Case size and design context
Bell & Ross attributes the 41 mm case choice to creative director and co-founder Bruno Belamich. The brand says the size was increased slightly to counter an optical effect and heighten the watches’ visual impact, making these the first self-winding BR-05 models with 41 mm cases. That is the manufacturer’s design explanation, rather than an independent assessment of how the watch looks or fits on a wrist.
Winding and crown use

- Unscrew the crown.
- Wind it clockwise, turning it approximately 71 times for a full wind.
- Set the time and date as needed, following the guide’s setting instructions.
- Screw the crown back down to preserve water resistance. Never operate the crown underwater.
