Google Store availability for Bellroy’s Pixel Watch Strap began in the United States on January 2, 2025. The launch price was $69, with 41mm and 45mm options in Black and Terracotta. That is a dated availability milestone, not a new August 2026 launch: the strap had been available for Bellroy pre-order in October 2024 and appeared as a Google Store listing in December.

Bellroy’s accessory moved through three distinct stages:
- October 10, 2024: Bellroy began taking pre-orders.
- December 13, 2024: Google Store listing coverage appeared, but the strap was not yet purchasable there.
- January 2, 2025: U.S. Google Store purchase availability was reported.

The 41mm and 45mm labels identify the watch case size, not a guarantee that one band cannot fit a wrist suited to the other. Measure your wrist, then confirm that the chosen case-size connector is correct.
Which Pixel Watch models does it fit?
Google’s current U.S. product page lists:

- Pixel Watch 3, 45mm

- Pixel Watch 4, 45mm
Earlier January coverage said the 41mm version should also work with the original Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 “in theory.” Treat that as a qualified older claim unless current Google or Bellroy documentation confirms it for your specific watch.
The listing carries a Made for Google designation. Google’s page explains that Bellroy certified the product to meet Google’s compatibility standards; Google does not thereby become the manufacturer or guarantee the accessory’s operation, safety compliance or long-term durability.

It is a leather-and-polymer hybrid, not an all-leather band
Google lists eco-tanned leather as a material, while Bellroy’s earlier product information describes leather on the outward-facing surface and a durable, textured polymer underside. Stainless-steel hardware completes the construction.

If you want an entirely leather band, this is not that product.
Bellroy says the polymer underside improves flexibility and durability, and that its texture is intended to reduce sweat buildup. The company also presents the leather as something that develops visible wear or patina. Those are manufacturer design claims, not independent laboratory test results. The Google Store warns that lighter colors can show wear sooner than darker ones.

These specifications come from the Google Store U.S. product page. The unusual width difference shown in the listing is another reason to select by watch case rather than wrist circumference alone.
Who should consider it?
Good match for style-focused owners
- You want a more traditional watch appearance than a silicone or sport band provides.
- You own a Pixel Watch 3 or Pixel Watch 4 and want an accessory positioned for Google’s ecosystem.
- You prefer leather against the outside of the wrist but want polymer where the band contacts skin.
Reasons to skip it
- $69 is a premium price for a strap whose reported composition is mostly polymer.
- You specifically want an all-leather construction.
- You need a band explicitly documented for swimming, showering or intense workouts. The cited product information does not establish those use cases.
- You want the lowest-cost replacement and do not value Bellroy styling or Made for Google positioning.
Google Store versus other retailers
The Google Store was the significant change in January 2025 because it added an official Google checkout route after Bellroy’s pre-order period. At that time, Bellroy’s own site was reported out of stock, while Amazon had stock and one Black 45mm listing was temporarily discounted. Those were historical conditions, not current inventory or deal claims.
