Some Bluetooth trackers can be set up with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, but that usually means choosing one network—not using both at once. Chipolo lists POP, LOOP, and CARD as compatible with both networks, while Pebblebee says its Tag can connect to only one tracking network at a time.
Check the exact model and its current setup instructions before buying. For a tracker intended to move between iPhone and Android, choose a model documented for both networks and let its owner select the network during setup.
First: “either network” is not “both networks”
A tracker documented for both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub can be a choice between networks, not a bridge that reports to both simultaneously. Pebblebee explicitly says its Tag connects to only one tracking network at a time. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact model before relying on a particular setup or migration process.
This distinction matters in three common situations:
#1 Best Overall
- THE EVERYTHING TRACKER: Protect lost or stolen stuff and make family life easier. Attach to everyday things like keys, water bottles, or bags
- STAY SAFE WITH SOS: Discreetly trigger an SOS alert to your loved ones in unsafe situations
- FIND YOUR THINGS: Ring your misplaced Tile, or track it down in the free app
- FIND YOUR PHONE: Phone hiding under a cushion? Use your Tile to make it ring — even when silenced
- USE WITH LIFE360: Add your Tiles to Life360 — a top family connection and safety app – to see everything and everyone on the same map
- Mixed-phone households: One universal tag does not automatically appear in both an Apple Find My account and a Google Find Hub account. Google documents sharing a tracker tag with up to 10 loved ones; check the current sharing instructions to see whether they suit your household.
- Gifts: A model compatible with both networks gives the recipient a choice. Let the recipient set it up in the network they use.
- Switching phones: Compatibility with both networks does not mean a live handoff between them. Follow the maker’s current removal, reset, and pairing instructions for that model.
Which trackers are documented for both networks?
| Model | Documented compatibility | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Chipolo POP | Listed by Chipolo for Apple Find My and Google Find Hub | Confirm the exact model and follow its setup instructions |
| Chipolo LOOP | Listed by Chipolo for Apple Find My and Google Find Hub | Confirm the exact model and follow its setup instructions |
| Chipolo CARD | Listed by Chipolo for Apple Find My and Google Find Hub | Confirm the exact model and follow its setup instructions |
| Pebblebee Tag | Documented for either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub | It connects to one tracking network at a time |
Chipolo’s support pages list other models that are specific to one network: ONE Point and CARD Point for Find Hub, and ONE Spot and CARD Spot for Find My. The overlap in the cited compatibility lists is POP, LOOP, and CARD. Pebblebee also distinguishes network-exclusive devices from its Universal and Gen 5 ranges. A brand name alone does not establish compatibility; check the exact model in the maker’s current documentation.
Apple AirTag is an Apple Find My item, not a Google Find Hub tracker. Android unknown-tracker alerts for AirTags are a safety feature, not cross-platform item-finding compatibility.
Choose by the item and verify the features
Start with the item you want to keep track of, then check the exact product’s form factor and specifications. The dossier’s sources verify compatibility, but do not provide a consistent current comparison of prices, battery life, durability, or performance across these models.

| Use case | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Keys or a bag | Whether the tracker’s shape and attachment method suit the item |
| Wallet or passport holder | Whether the model is a card-shaped tracker designed for a flat pocket |
| Travel or outdoor use | Current battery or charging details and water or dust-resistance rating for the exact model |
| Changing phone ecosystems | Documented support for both networks and the manufacturer’s instructions for changing networks |
Chipolo POP is a supported compatibility example, not a comparative test winner. Pebblebee Tag is another documented option. Before purchasing, verify the current model listing and intended network with the manufacturer.

How item-finding networks locate a tracker
These products rely on Bluetooth and nearby participating devices to report a tracker’s location through the selected finding network. Finding depends on factors such as network settings and nearby devices; neither network guarantees an instant location or recovery. Google describes Find Hub’s encrypted location handling and network participation options in its Find Hub privacy help.
Do not assume every tracker offers precise direction finding or the same nearby-finding features. Check the exact tracker and phone documentation for the features you need.

Setup: follow the platform and maker instructions
Apple and Google provide different setup paths. Apple says to follow the manufacturer’s instructions to make a supported third-party item discoverable, then add it in Find My under Items. Google requires a compatible tag connected to an Android device and a Google Account. For Pebblebee Tag, choose one tracking network during setup.
- Check the exact model’s compatibility with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.
- Make the item discoverable using the manufacturer’s instructions.
- On an iPhone, follow Apple’s steps to add the supported item in Find My. On Android, follow Google Find Hub and the manufacturer’s setup instructions.
- Test the features available in the selected app, such as playing a sound, before relying on the tracker.
If an item cannot be added to Find My and you are unsure whether it is supported, Apple advises contacting the manufacturer. See Apple’s third-party item instructions and Google’s Find Hub sharing help.

Use trackers only for belongings you own or have permission to track. Apple says compatible Bluetooth trackers separated from their owner and seen moving with someone over time can trigger a notification or sound; alert availability depends on device and operating-system requirements. Google documents unknown-tracker alerts for compatible tags and AirTags. Check the current Apple unwanted-tracking guidance and Google Android alert instructions.

For a model documented for both networks, Chipolo lists POP, LOOP, and CARD as compatible with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub. Pebblebee Tag is another either-network option, but it connects to only one network at a time. These are compatibility examples, not rankings or firsthand test results.
If you need one tag to appear simultaneously in an iPhone user’s Find My account and an Android user’s Find Hub account, the models described here do not meet that requirement. Check the exact model’s current compatibility and setup documentation before buying.
