The Bovet Dimier Récital 27 is a hand-wound, seven-day watch that displays three time zones at once. Its two secondary zones include day/night indications and can be selected independently, while an engraved domed moon-phase display is designed, according to Bovet, to need correction only once every 122 years. For a prospective buyer, the key is to confirm the exact reference and configuration: published dimensions differ by source, and current prices and availability are not established in the public specifications.
What does the Récital 27 show?
The watch displays local time alongside second and third time zones. Bovet describes hours and minutes for the secondary zones, each with a day/night indicator. The GPHG listing for titanium reference R270014 also identifies city indications and says the two secondary zones can be selected independently from worldwide zones. This is a simultaneous three-zone display, not simply a second time-zone hand.
Seconds and the power-reserve indication are visible on the reverse, according to Bovet’s product page. The display’s combination of city selection, day/night indications and three zones is more informative than a conventional GMT display, but the available specifications do not establish that it is objectively better than a GMT or a world-time watch. Which is more useful depends on how you track time in practice.
How does the movement and seven-day reserve work?
Bovet specifies an in-house, hand-finished, hand-wound manufacture movement with an in-house hairspring and regulating organ. A single barrel supplies the stated 168-hour, or seven-day, power reserve. That is the manufacturer’s specification; it is not an independent accuracy or durability assessment.

The Récital 27 is manually wound. Its long reserve means the watch can run for a week when fully wound, according to the stated figure, but the source does not provide an independent measurement or additional operating conditions.
How does the moon phase work, and how often does it need correction?
The moon is shown on a domed indicator engraved to evoke the lunar surface and hand-filled with Super-LumiNova. Bovet says the display needs correction once every 122 years. The same interval appears in the brand’s 17 September 2021 article about a turquoise-dial edition. Treat 122 years as Bovet’s stated correction interval, not as an independently tested result.

What are the case dimensions and material options?
Bovet describes the Dimier case as a writing-desk shape with an 8° slope, offered in Grade 5 titanium or 18K red gold. Its current product page gives dimensions of 46.3 mm by 16.50 mm. The GPHG database lists a thickness of 15.95 mm for the specific titanium reference R270014. These are different figures from different sources; check the dimensions for the exact reference rather than treating them as interchangeable. The GPHG listing also gives 30 m water resistance for R270014.
A 2021 turquoise guilloché edition was offered in both Grade 5 titanium and 18K red gold. Bovet described a guilloché base dial, layers of translucent colored lacquer and polishing that reveals the pattern. That article documents that edition at the time; it does not confirm present availability.

What is the Bovet Récital 27 price?
The GPHG database lists CHF 91,600 including VAT for titanium reference R270014 and records its launch as March 2023. This is a historical listing, not a current quote. Bovet’s product page offers an inquiry route but does not publish a current price, so confirm the current price, currency and tax basis for your location directly with Bovet or an authorized retailer.
Public sources do not establish current stock or lead times for each configuration. Bovet says availability, lead times and deposits depend on the reference or bespoke commission and location. Request written confirmation of the exact reference, case and dial, stock status or estimated lead time, and the full current price before proceeding.

What should you verify before buying?
Use the specific watch—not the collection name alone—as the basis for a comparison or purchase decision.
- Reference and configuration: Confirm the reference number, case material and exact dial or guilloché edition.
- Dimensions: Ask for the dimensions tied to that reference and note the source, particularly where thickness figures differ.
- Price and availability: Confirm the date of the quote, currency, local tax treatment, stock or lead time, and any deposit terms.
- Time-zone functions: Check that the independently selectable secondary zones, city indications and day/night displays match the way you intend to use the watch.
- Moon phase: Confirm the complication and its operating instructions for the particular watch; the 122-year interval is Bovet’s stated specification.
- Condition and provenance: For a pre-owned watch, assess the exact reference, condition, provenance, service history, warranty status and completeness of the set individually.
Warranty, servicing and included documents
Bovet lists a five-year warranty for the Récital 27. Its FAQ describes international coverage for manufacturing defects for five years from purchase, with details in the warranty certificate. Check the certificate’s terms and exclusions and confirm the authorized service route for your region. Bovet says servicing and restoration are handled by its watchmakers or certified service partners; request a service estimate for the specific watch if relevant.

Bovet’s FAQ says each timepiece is delivered with an official presentation box, warranty certificate, user documentation and any certificates specific to complications or bespoke work. This general delivery statement does not verify what is included with an individual resale watch. Inspect the actual package and documents rather than assuming they are present.
