Its published specification pairs a hand-wound manufacture movement and flying tourbillon with a stated 10-day power reserve, a power-reserve indicator, and a 44 mm Fleurier Writing Desk case. The details below are BOVET’s own product information, not results from an independent inspection or timing test.
What makes the Virtuoso XI a skeleton tourbillon watch?
BOVET describes the Fleurier Virtuoso XI as its first skeleton timepiece in the company’s more than 200-year history. Skeletonization exposes the movement architecture rather than concealing it behind a conventional dial. BOVET says all components are fully skeletonized on both sides, giving the watch an open-worked appearance from either face.
The tourbillon is a regulating mechanism that BOVET identifies as a patented flying tourbillon. The product page also lists an in-house hairspring and regulating organ. These are manufacturer-published descriptions; the available information does not establish independent performance measurements.
Movement, winding and functions
BOVET specifies an in-house, hand-finished, hand-wound manufacture movement. It gives the power reserve as 10 days, or 240 hours. A patented spherical winding system is listed alongside the movement specification.

Skeletonization and hand-finishing
BOVET says the movement components are hand-finished and beveled before engraving. The company describes engraving both sides of the components, with the work performed in its Tramelan workshop. These are the maker’s accounts of its process, not observations from an independent examination.
