Who made the Paragon?
MONOCHROME described Bradley Taylor as a Canadian-born watchmaker who trained at the Korpela & Hofs Watchmaking Competence Centre in Le Locle, Switzerland, before working in after-sales service. The Paragon was the first watch under his eponymous brand, according to the publication’s March 15, 2021 introduction: MONOCHROME’s launch account.
What distinguishes the design?
The stainless-steel case is reported as 39 mm across and 9.8 mm high, with a scalloped bezel, knurled crown, sapphire crystal on the front and sapphire caseback. MONOCHROME gives its water resistance as 120 m. These are the specifications reported for the launch-era watch, rather than independently verified current production details.
MONOCHROME lists light blue, purple and black dial options, with bespoke colors available on request. The dial combines guilloché on the outer section with reversed guilloché on the small-seconds subdial. The applied polished-steel numerals were individually made, and Taylor made the hands, according to the article.

Movement and specifications
The Paragon uses the automatic Vaucher calibre 5401/32, a 30 mm-diameter, 2.6 mm-thick micro-rotor movement. MONOCHROME reports a 22-karat-gold micro-rotor, 29 jewels, 160 components, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a 48-hour power reserve.

Customization, production and launch price
MONOCHROME said customers could request bespoke dial colors and bespoke straps, naming beaver-tail and salmon leather as options. The article does not identify a strap supplier.

The same March 15, 2021 account reported a limited run of 12 pieces and a price of USD 22,000. Those figures describe the launch-era offer only; the article does not establish whether the Paragon is currently orderable, whether any pieces remain, or what it might cost now.
