The Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Flat Skeleton 5395 is a 41 mm automatic tourbillon with a skeletonized movement measuring 3 mm thick and a case measuring 7.7 mm thick. Breguet currently lists it in 18K rose gold and platinum. Both versions use caliber 581SQ, with an 80-hour power reserve and a 4 Hz frequency. Breguet does not publish a numeric recommended retail price on its product page; it directs buyers to a point of sale.
What is the Breguet 5395?
The 5395 is a Classique collection watch that pairs an extra-flat automatic tourbillon with an openworked, or skeletonized, movement. The open construction makes the movement’s components visible from the front, while Breguet says its finishing includes engraving, guilloché and anglage. The brand describes removing nearly 50% of the movement material to create the skeletonized design; that figure is Breguet’s own description, not an independent measurement. What are the two 5395 versions?
Breguet lists two references. The published specifications do not indicate a performance difference between them: both are listed with caliber 581SQ and the same core dimensions and movement details.

How thin is the Breguet 5395?
Breguet lists the case at 7.7 mm thick and the caliber at 3 mm thick. The watch measures 41 mm in diameter, with a 21 mm lug width. Its listed wearing details are a sapphire caseback, a non-screwed crown and an alligator strap. Water resistance is 3 BAR; that rating alone is not a basis for treating the watch as suitable for swimming.
What movement is inside, and how long is its power reserve?
The current product page identifies the movement as caliber 581SQ. Breguet lists it as automatic, 37 mm wide and 3 mm thick, built from 327 components, running at 4 Hz and offering an 80-hour power reserve. It also specifies a flat silicon balance spring. These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independently measured results.

A Swatch Group archive from 2019 refers to the movement as Calibre 581 and reports that the tourbillon cage weighs 0.290 gram. The archive also reports the 80-hour reserve and 4 Hz frequency, which Breguet’s current page lists for caliber 581SQ. The differing names reflect the wording of the two sources: the current model page uses 581SQ, while the archive says Calibre 581. Swatch Group’s 2019 archive supplies the dated cage-weight figure.
What does the tourbillon do?
Breguet’s explanation traces the tourbillon to Abraham-Louis Breguet’s 1801 invention. It places the escapement and balance wheel in a mobile cage to counteract gravity’s effect on the regulating organ. That historical purpose does not establish a quantified everyday accuracy advantage for this watch; the cited product specifications do not provide an independent comparative accuracy test.

How much does the Breguet 5395 cost?
Breguet’s current product page gives no numeric recommended retail price and instead asks readers to contact a point of sale. Ask Breguet or an authorized point of sale for the price, taxes and availability applicable to your market; a number from a resale listing would not establish the current official price. The 21 mm lug width may help when checking strap options, but confirm reference-specific fit before buying a replacement. Breguet also provides a model-specific owner’s manual for the 5395.
