The blue boutique edition is the Breguet Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7097, reference 7097BB/GY/9WU. Breguet lists the watch as boutique exclusive but does not publish a numeric current price on its official page; buyers must request a quote from a point of sale. Its standout traits are a blue hand-guilloché dial, an exposed automatic movement and a retrograde small-seconds display.
Which Breguet Tradition 7097 is the blue boutique edition?
The exact blue reference is 7097BB/GY/9WU, in an 18K white-gold case. Breguet labels it “Boutique exclusive.” Do not confuse it with reference 7097BB/G1/9WU, which has a silvery dial coating rather than the blue dial. The official product pages establish this reference and dial distinction; they do not establish current stock or availability in a particular location.

What is the current price?
Breguet does not show a numeric recommended retail price for the blue 7097 on its official product page. The page directs customers to contact a point of sale, so a local Breguet boutique or verified point of sale is the appropriate source for a current regional quote.
Time and Watches reported €35,700 in 2020 for the blue boutique edition. That is a historical launch-era figure, not a current price: the report does not resolve today’s regional pricing, taxes or subsequent price changes.

Dial, display and movement architecture
The main dial sits off-centre, leaving much of the movement visible from the front. Breguet describes the bridges, wheels, escapement and barrel as exposed on the main plate. The blue dial is hand-guilloché, with steel Breguet hollow-apple hands.
Rank #2
- 2nd time-zone sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position
- AM/PM sub-dial indicator located at the 3 o'clock position
- Polished 18kt rose gold case
- Hand engraved (engine-turned) guilloche black dial
Small seconds appear at 10 o’clock on a retrograde hand: rather than rotating continuously around a full subdial, the indication travels along its arc and returns. Breguet also highlights the pare-chute at 4 o’clock, an arrangement it says protects the balance-wheel pivots from impacts. This is the manufacturer’s description, not an independently verified impact-performance claim.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to check when comparing or buying one
- Reference and dial: confirm 7097BB/GY/9WU for the blue version; 7097BB/G1/9WU is the silvery-dial variant.
- Case metal and configuration: verify the stated white-gold case, strap and buckle against the specific watch being offered.
- Price and availability: request a current quote and confirm local availability with a Breguet point of sale; the boutique-exclusive label does not establish inventory.
- Pre-owned provenance: ask the seller to establish authenticity, condition and provenance, and review the protections applicable to that transaction.
The 21 mm lug width is a manufacturer specification; by itself, it does not establish that a particular third-party strap is a safe or exact fit.
