What makes the Tradition 7035 distinct?
The 7035 keeps the Tradition collection’s prominent, visible movement architecture, but gives the watch a distinctive anniversary treatment: an 18K Breguet gold case, a blue hand-guilloché enamel dial, and a crescent-shaped platinum oscillating weight visible through the sapphire caseback. Breguet describes it as a special anniversary variation of the Tradition 7037.

The dial’s Quai de l’Horloge guilloché pattern is named for the area around Île de la Cité and Île Saint-Louis. Breguet says the pattern’s contours draw on the 18th-century Turgot map of Paris; that is the brand’s account of the design’s inspiration. Breguet’s launch article
How the dial and displays work
Hours and minutes are shown on the translucent blue dial. The retrograde seconds hand occupies a compact arc between 10 and 11 o’clock, set apart from the central movement components. “Retrograde” describes a hand that travels along an arc and returns to its starting point at the end of its scale, rather than making a continuous full-circle sweep.

Breguet says the case is made in its Breguet gold, an alloy introduced for the brand’s 250th anniversary. Its anniversary site describes the alloy as combining gold, silver, copper and palladium. The brand also says a specially developed plating treatment gives the mainplate and bridges a hue that matches the case; silver-coloured gears, blued screws and red jewels provide contrast. Through the sapphire back, the crescent-shaped oscillating weight is described by Breguet as vertically brushed platinum. The launch article mentions a Pt950 engraving. Breguet presents the crescent form as a reference to oscillating weights used in A.-L. Breguet’s era; this is the brand’s historical interpretation of the design.
Price, edition and availability
Breguet identifies the 7035 as a limited edition, but the cited official materials do not state how many pieces will be made.
