It pairs design cues from Orient’s first diver’s watch with a modern automatic movement and a stated 200 m scuba-diver’s water-resistance rating.
What is the RE-AU0503N?
Orient Star announced the anniversary model on February 4, 2026, with an official launch in March 2026. The brand describes it as a reinterpretation of the 1964 Olympia Calendar Diver and limits production to 700 pieces worldwide. Epson’s Japanese announcement specifies 400 pieces for Japan and 300 for overseas markets; those are regional allocations, not separate global edition totals. Orient Star’s announcement and Epson’s announcement provide the release details.
The dial is blue-grey, graduating from a lighter centre to a darker perimeter. Orient Star says the effect is intended to evoke the ocean reflecting stars at night. The watch also has a rotating bezel, luminous elements, a date display and a power-reserve indicator. Orient Star’s product page lists the full specification.
Movement and everyday operation
The watch uses Orient Star’s F6N47 mechanical calibre. It winds automatically or by hand and has a stated power reserve of over 50 hours. Orient Star lists accuracy at +25 to -15 seconds per day; that is the manufacturer’s specification, not a guarantee that every watch will keep time within that range in every wearing condition.

What the 200 m diver rating means
Orient Star specifies 200 m scuba-diver’s water resistance and says the model complies with international ISO 6425 standards. The product page also lists JIS Type 1 magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m or higher. These are manufacturer-published specifications; follow the watch’s instructions for operation and care, especially before exposing it to water.
The 200 m rating belongs to this modern anniversary watch. It should not be attributed to the 1964 original: Orient Star lists the Olympia Calendar Diver at 40 m and says that it does not meet current ISO diver-watch standards. The brand explains that clear standards for diver’s watches did not exist when the original was made. See Orient Star’s 75th-anniversary history.

How it relates to the 1964 Olympia Calendar Diver
Orient identifies the Olympia Calendar Diver as its first diver’s watch. The RE-AU0503N reworks that heritage in a current mechanical watch; it is not a reproduction of the original’s water-resistance capability. The contemporary specification, including the ISO-compliant 200 m diver rating, is a key distinction between the two.
