The Bremont Boeing Model 247 is a retired watch family, not one single configuration: it includes a stainless-steel chronograph and titanium GMT variants. Bremont’s current Australian product page marks the Model 247 as retired from its catalogue. The detailed specifications below are for the steel chronograph; Hodinkee’s hands-on impressions are from its May 2014 launch-era article, not a recent wear test.
What is the Bremont Boeing Model 247?
The Model 247 was the debut chronograph in Bremont’s collaboration with Boeing. The family included black- and white-dial options and more than one case and complication configuration. The distinction matters: the steel chronograph’s automatic movement and chronograph functions should not be confused with the titanium GMT variant.
Hodinkee reported in 2014 that the Custom 465 stainless-steel model launched at $6,750, with a titanium version expected later that year. That is a launch-era price, not a current valuation.
Steel chronograph: specifications and functions
Bremont’s Australian product page gives these specifications for its stainless-steel Model 247 chronograph:

The official listing describes two dial-colour variants. Its specifications apply to the steel chronograph; they should not be assigned to the titanium GMT.
How does it wear?
In a hands-on introduction dated May 13, 2014, Hodinkee called the 43 mm Trip-Tick case robust and said its arched lugs sat comfortably on the wrist. It also noted a high wrist profile, which it attributed to the barrel-shaped case. Those are launch-era editorial impressions, not a fresh fit assessment.

Hodinkee described the black and white dials as legible, pointing to rectangular luminous plots, differentiated hands and the date window at 4:30. The article described a leather-polymer “Seattle Hybrid” strap and noted that a basic nylon NATO was also available.
Steel chronograph or titanium GMT?
Identify the reference before comparing features. Bremont’s steel page specifies the BE-50AE chronograph. A separate titanium GMT configuration is named on Bremont’s Boeing employee-offer page, but the available product specification here does not establish its complete movement or case details. Do not assume the steel chronograph’s specifications apply to it.

Is the Bremont Model 247 still available?
Bremont’s Australian product page labels the watch “No Longer Available” and states: “This Boeing Model 247 has officially retired from the Bremont catalogue.” That establishes its catalogue status, not whether a retailer or private seller has an example in stock. Current resale stock and prices are not established here.

What strap fits the Bremont Boeing 247?
Bremont lists a 22 mm lug width for the steel chronograph. That makes a 22 mm strap a sensible starting point, but width alone does not guarantee fit: confirm the exact reference, attachment style, spring-bar fit and any end-piece requirements before ordering a third-party strap. Bremont also publishes an official strap-changing tutorial featuring the BB247 Ti-GMT; it does not establish that every 22 mm strap fits every Model 247 reference.
