The available official Bremont material does not confirm which watch “Project Possible” refers to or verify that it has a two-tone bronze case. Bremont’s Supermarine Descent II is a documented example of a two-material dive watch—but Bremont identifies it separately, and the evidence does not establish it as the Project Possible watch.
Is the Project Possible watch a Bremont Descent II?
That identification is not verified by the official material available here. Bremont’s Supermarine Descent II page names the Descent II and describes its specifications, but does not connect the model to Project Possible. Search-result phrases such as “Bremont Project Possible Limited Edition” and questions about the watch Nirmal Purja wore are not enough to establish a reference.
Until a primary Bremont release, archive entry, or named reference makes the connection, it would be inaccurate to call the Descent II the Project Possible watch or to attribute its specifications to that watch.
What does “two-tone bronze” mean for the verified Descent II?
Bremont describes the Descent II as having a titanium case and a bronze unidirectional bezel. Its indexes and hands are bronze-plated, not described as solid bronze. In other words, this is a mix of materials and finishes—not an all-bronze case. The distinction matters because “bronze watch” can refer to the case, bezel, dial details, or some combination.

- Material: CUSN8 bronze case, bezel, stainless steel case back, synthetic sapphire crystal, suede leather band, stainless steel buckle
Bremont lists the case as aviation-grade Ti 6-4 titanium, with Trip-Tick construction and a DLC-treated barrel. Those details belong to the Descent II; they do not establish the construction of a Project Possible watch.

How the Descent II’s dive features work
Bremont says a unidirectional rotating bezel tracks elapsed time. The company explains that the helium release valve on its S500 dive-watch page prevents pressure buildup from helium that has seeped into the case. These are Bremont’s descriptions of the features; they should not be generalized to a Project Possible configuration that has not been identified.

Bremont’s Terra Nova Bronze page describes a different collection of field watches. Bremont says its Cupro-Aluminium bronze is enhanced with aluminium and silicon and develops a smooth, even patina. That alloy description concerns Terra Nova Bronze; it is not evidence about the alloy, finish, or patina of the Descent II or an unidentified Project Possible watch.

What to verify before buying or identifying one
- Find the exact reference number in a primary Bremont source or reliable documentation for the individual watch.
- Check which components are bronze, bronze-plated, or made from another material; a bronze bezel does not mean the case is bronze.
- Match any claimed dimensions, movement, water resistance, GMT function, helium valve, or chronometer rating to that exact reference.
- Bremont marks the Descent II as retired. That does not establish whether unsold dealer stock or pre-owned examples are available, so check current listings independently and confirm their reference.
