Availability is less clear: one Bremont regional listing says the model has retired from the catalogue, while another official page shows in-stock messaging.
What is the Bremont U-2/51-JET?
The U-2/51-JET is a variant of Bremont’s U-2 line distinguished by a black DLC-coated case and a black middle barrel. Bremont says the design was commissioned by members of RAF 100 Squadron to mark the squadron’s centenary and complement its Hawk T1 aircraft. The brand connects the stealth-like appearance to the squadron’s origins as a night-bombing unit in 1917; this is Bremont’s account of the watch’s inspiration.
The black treatment is not completely monochrome. The dial’s “51” numerals have a vintage-toned luminous appearance, while the hands are blue. In a 26 February 2018 first look, Time+Tide contributor Felix Scholz described the combination of the U-2 case, black treatment and vintage details as “simple, compelling and counter-intuitive, all at once.” That is his design assessment, not a performance finding.
Bremont also associated the watch with the 2018 film Venom, saying it appears on Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy. That connection comes from the brand’s campaign page.

Is the Bremont U-2/51-JET still available?
Availability cannot be established globally from the official pages alone. Bremont’s Australian bracelet-variant page says the U-2/51-JET has “officially retired from the Bremont catalogue,” but a current official regional product page displays a price and in-stock messaging. These are different regional listings and potentially different variants or page states; neither establishes general availability. Ask Bremont or an authorized retailer to confirm whether the specific configuration can be purchased in your market.
If considering a pre-owned example, ask the seller to document the watch’s condition, service history, included straps, and papers. The cited listings do not establish resale prices or how much stock is available.
