Hommage is a one-off Veyron tribute with a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon integrated into the dashboard at the future owner’s request. Rather than functioning as an ordinary wristwatch, it sits in an engine-turned dashboard island and is wound by a mechanism powered by the car.
What is the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage?
Bugatti describes the F.K.P. Hommage as the second creation from Programme Solitaire, its bespoke program for up to two unique creations annually. The car celebrates the Veyron and its creator, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch; “F.K.P.” refers to Piëch’s initials. The first Solitaire creation was Brouillard.
The Hommage is not simply a recreation of an early Veyron. Bugatti presents it as a modern interpretation of the car’s design, paired with the highest evolution of its W16 platform. Its quad-turbocharged engine is rated at 1,600 hp. Bugatti also lists larger turbochargers, enhanced intercoolers, upgraded cooling systems and a reinforced gearbox.
What watch is inside the dashboard?
The central timepiece is a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon. Bugatti says the future owner requested the installation. The watch is set into an engine-turned island in the dashboard, making it part of this car’s bespoke cabin rather than a standard feature of the F.K.P. Hommage or the Royal Oak collection.

That distinction matters: Bugatti’s announcement identifies this particular integrated watch, but does not establish that the same watch configuration is a retail product or separately available to buy. Audemars Piguet’s collection history provides broader Royal Oak context, not evidence that this exact installation is a standard reference.
How does the dashboard watch wind?
Bugatti says a gondola mechanism rotates the watch on a diagonal axis several times per hour. The car powers the mechanism, and it has no electrical connection. The company does not specify an accuracy improvement or provide further performance measurements for the system.

How does the Hommage relate to the original Veyron?
Bugatti says the exterior refines the Veyron’s leaning-back stance and dropping belt line while adding updated details. These include a three-dimensional horseshoe grille machined from solid aluminum and a layered red finish over an aluminum-based coat. The cabin combines a circular, Bauhaus-inspired steering wheel with a bespoke solid-aluminum center console and tunnel cover, plus custom Paris-woven fabric.
The design intent looks back to the Veyron, while the specified engine and supporting systems represent a later evolution of Bugatti’s W16 engineering. Bugatti Design Director Frank Heyl called the result “the ideal, definitive Veyron,” describing a process of refining details with the client through multiple iterations.

When was the F.K.P. Hommage unveiled?
Bugatti announced the car digitally on January 22, 2026. Its physical world premiere followed on January 30 at the Ultimate Supercar Garage during Rétromobile Paris, which ran from January 29 to February 1. The announcement and the physical premiere were separate launch moments.
