A natural-stone dial makes each watch visually individual: color, veining and inclusions can differ from the photograph, even within the same model. The six watches below span time-only designs, a chronograph with calendar functions and a perpetual calendar, as well as a wide range of sizes, water-resistance ratings and prices. Their prices and availability are figures reported by Monochrome Watches on 15 February 2026, not current quotes.
What counts as a natural-stone dial?
A natural-stone dial is cut from naturally formed material, so its pattern is not a repeatable print. Rolex explains that it selects stone sections for their expressive patterns, and Nivada Grenchen describes its F77 dials as cut from natural stone. Expect individual variations in color, veining and inclusions; a delivered watch may not look exactly like its product image. Rolex’s dial explainer includes the manufacturer’s description of natural stones including onyx and tiger iron.
Check the material wording rather than relying on a dial color or collection name. Aventurine can refer to natural aventurine or to aventurine glass, a crafted glass material. Those are not interchangeable claims. Nivada’s F77 range includes both natural-stone options and aventurine glass, so verify the exact reference before ordering. Nivada Grenchen’s F77 collection and its F77 MKII details identify the range and model specifications.

How the stone changes the look
Warm bands and dramatic pattern
The Louis Vuitton pairs Tiger’s Eye across the dial and case-middle ring, giving the stone a larger role than a dial alone. Pietersite, by contrast, is the defining detail of Atelier Wen’s Perception; its blue-grey swirls make each dial’s pattern a central part of the watch’s appearance.
Blue stone and contrasting complications
Lapis lazuli gives the Zenith a deep-blue dial beneath silver subdials and multiple indications. Czapek offers lapis as one of three dial choices, alongside Falcon Eye and green Gibeon meteorite. The Gibeon option is meteorite, not a natural-stone variety, so compare the material named for the specific version you are considering.
Rank #2
Restrained black and multicolor marquetry
Frederique Constant uses black onyx for a comparatively restrained surface beneath its calendar displays. Piaget’s Collage takes the opposite approach: its dial combines a black onyx base with three additional materials in a multicolor marquetry layout.
Choose by fit, water resistance and complication
Case dimensions and wrist fit
The reported diameter range runs from Zenith’s 38 mm to Piaget’s 45 x 43 mm case. Atelier Wen’s 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement helps describe how its 40 mm-wide case may span the wrist; diameter alone does not tell the whole fit story. Thickness is not stated in the guide for these models, so try the watch on or check the manufacturer’s full dimensions if case height matters to you.

Water-resistance ratings
The reported ratings are 30 m for Piaget and Frederique Constant, 50 m for Louis Vuitton and Zenith, 100 m for Atelier Wen, and 120 m for Czapek. A rating is a specification, not by itself a guarantee that a watch suits a particular activity. Check the manufacturer’s guidance for the exact model and intended use rather than inferring suitability from the number alone.
Time-only or calendar and chronograph functions
Louis Vuitton and Piaget keep the display time-only. Zenith adds a 1/10-second chronograph and triple-calendar indications, including a moonphase. Frederique Constant is the perpetual calendar in this group, displaying day, date, month, leap year and moonphase. Choose the complication set you will actually use; extra indications also make the dial busier.

Prices and availability: treat published figures as dated
Monochrome Watches’ 15 February 2026 prices are useful for comparing the models as reported at that time, but they do not establish today’s price, regional taxes, stock or orderability. Limited production counts are not a promise that a watch remains available. The guide reported that Atelier Wen’s time-limited order window had closed; that status should not be mistaken for a current update. Confirm the exact reference, price and ordering status with the brand or an authorized retailer before making a purchase.
