What is the C2H4 G-SHOCK GM-5600-C2H424-8?
It is a collaboration between Casio’s G-SHOCK and design label C2H4, based on the GM-5600. Casio China announced the model on January 3, 2025, using the model code GM-5600-C2H424-8. Casio China’s announcement and C2H4’s collaboration page identify the watch and its design.

The concept is Space Age retro-futurism: C2H4 describes an approach built around streamlined forms, innovative materials, and minimalism. Rather than a new watch architecture, the collaboration gives the familiar GM-5600 a distinct visual treatment.
What are its materials and design details?
Metal bezel, not a confirmed all-steel watch
The official descriptions specify a forged-metal or metal bezel and a semi-transparent strap with red accents. They do not say that the entire watch is stainless steel, nor do they describe a stainless-steel bracelet. The phrase “stainless-steel watch” therefore overstates what these sources verify: the documented metal feature is the bezel, while the strap is semi-transparent.

Geometric styling and an architectural motif

Casio China describes limited-edition packaging shaped around a streamlined Space Age form. That is a detail of the presentation, not evidence of a particular production quantity.

What functions and water-resistance rating are confirmed?
C2H4 says the GM-5600’s shock-resistant and water-resistant features are retained. The reviewed collaboration descriptions do not give a numeric water-resistance rating, so a specific depth or pressure rating cannot be confirmed from them.
