What the Fujitsubo can do aboard
Citizen describes the Fujitsubo as a Promaster Mechanical Diver inspired by its 1970s Challenge Diver. On the blue-dial NB6021-68L, the listed features include a rotating elapsed-time bezel and luminous hands and markers. To mark an interval, align the bezel’s starting marker with the minute hand, then read elapsed minutes from the hand’s later position against the bezel.

Citizen’s US specifications for the NB6021-68L state 200 m/20 bar water resistance for scuba diving: Citizen NB6021-68L specifications. Citizen Canada gives the same rating for swimming, marine sports, and scuba diving on the NB6021-17E and NB6025-59H pages: NB6021-17E specifications and NB6025-59H specifications. The difference is how the regional pages describe intended use, not evidence of different tested performance.

Is it a good choice for sailing?
It can make sense if you want a mechanical dive watch for ordinary wear aboard and value a substantial water-resistance specification plus a simple elapsed-time bezel. If your sailing requires navigation, tide information, or a race-start sequence, the listed Fujitsubo functions do not cover those tasks. Treat it as a water-oriented watch with a timing aid, not as dedicated sailing instrumentation.
