Yes—the Saxonia Thin can suit regular wear if you want a slim, understated watch and are comfortable with a minimalist time-only display. Its low profile is helpful under cuffs, but its precious-metal case and 3-bar water-resistance rating make it a poor choice for swimming, bathing or rough, wet activity. Fit and versatility also depend on the specific version and the wearer.
How the 37 mm Saxonia Thin wears
A useful representative example is reference 201.027, rather than a specification for every Saxonia Thin. A. Lange & Söhne lists this version at 37 mm across and 5.9 mm thick, with an 18-carat white-gold case and a solid-silver argenté dial. The thin case gives it a formal-leaning profile without much height to catch on a shirt cuff. The manufacturer describes the line’s curved lugs as intended to sit snugly and slip under a cuff; that is design intent, not a guarantee that the watch will fit every wrist. A. There is also a useful firsthand perspective: a Hodinkee reviewer reported wearing a tested 37 mm Saxonia Thin continuously for about 16 days, said it slipped beneath cuffs, and found it worked with casual clothes as well as formal outfits. A simple display
The watch shows hours and minutes with two hands. That restraint can be part of its appeal if you want a clean dial, but it will not suit someone who wants a date display or other complications at a glance. The time-only layout is described on the official reference page.

A manual-winding routine
Reference 201.027 uses the manually wound L093.1 calibre. Its stated maximum power reserve is 72 hours, and the official page lists 167 movement parts and a 3.0 Hz balance frequency. Winding is part of owning this reference: it is not an automatic watch that replenishes its power reserve through wrist movement. The 72-hour figure is the stated maximum, not a guarantee of identical running time in every circumstance.
Care around water and knocks
The manufacturer rates reference 201.027 at 3 bar water resistance. Do not treat that rating as an endorsement for swimming or bathing; for everyday wear, remove the watch before water exposure rather than relying on it as a sports watch. Its white-gold case and alligator leather strap also suit a more considered routine than repeated rough or wet activity. The official specification identifies a sapphire-glass caseback, black alligator strap and white-gold pin buckle.

Check the exact version before deciding
“Saxonia Thin” covers multiple versions, so do not assume every example shares reference 201.027’s dimensions, materials or dial. The collection page identifies 37, 39 and 40 mm diameters across the line and notes later special editions. For example, the manufacturer’s 2018 release describes a copper-blue/goldstone 39 mm version with a 6.2 mm case and the L093.1 movement, whose stated power reserve is 72 hours. - Check the specific case diameter and thickness against your wrist and usual cuffs; the collection spans more than one diameter.
