Bucherer Manero Peripheral BigDate launched in 2021 with a steel case, a peripheral-rotor automatic movement and a multi-function dial combining a big date, weekday, small seconds and power reserve. At launch, Monochrome Watches listed it at €8,100 on textile or €8,550 on a steel bracelet; those are historical 2021 prices, not a current global price. The brand’s current product page lists the price as available on request.
What makes the Manero Peripheral BigDate distinctive?
The defining feature is its automatic caliber CFB A2011, which uses a peripheral oscillating mass rather than a rotor that covers the center of the movement. That arrangement allows more of the movement’s bridges to remain visible through the sapphire display back. Carl F. Bucherer presented the model as a 2021 addition to its Manero collection; Monochrome Watches covered the launch on 12 June 2021. (Monochrome Watches; 2021/2022 Watchmakers’ Selection)
The dial brings together central hours and minutes with a large date near 10 o’clock, weekday at 9, small seconds at 6 and power reserve at 3, as described in Monochrome’s launch coverage. The arrangement gives the watch more information than a conventional dress watch, while keeping the displays in distinct areas.
How it wears and looks
Monochrome’s hands-on account describes the design as more restrained than the Manero Power Reserve. It notes faceted applied indices, sharp-tipped Dauphine hands and the absence of lume. The two-tone subdial details add contrast without dominating the dial, while the peripheral rotor keeps the movement’s center relatively unobstructed in the caseback view. These are the reviewer’s visual impressions, not independent performance-test findings. (Monochrome Watches)

Dial, strap and reference options
The 2021 launch offered two dial treatments—light blue with beige accents and dark gray with olive accents—and each came either on a matching textile strap or a stainless-steel bracelet. Confirm the full reference when comparing listings, since strap and bracelet versions are distinct configurations. The references identified in Monochrome’s hands-on are:
| Reference | Dial and configuration |
|---|---|
| 00.10926.08.53.01 | Light blue dial, beige textile strap |
| 00.10926.08.53.21 | Light blue dial, steel bracelet |
| 00.10926.08.93.01 | Dark gray dial, olive textile strap |
| 00.10926.08.93.21 | Dark gray dial, steel bracelet |
Monochrome characterizes the blue version as lighter and the gray-and-olive version as more subdued. (Monochrome Watches)

Manero Peripheral BigDate price: launch price versus later listings
Monochrome’s 2021 launch article listed retail prices of €8,100 on a textile strap and €8,550 on a steel bracelet. Those figures answer what the watch cost at launch; they should not be read as current prices in every market.
Later listing snapshots show why configuration, country and date matter. Bucherer France displayed €9,500 for textile reference 00.10926.08.93.01 and €9,900 for bracelet reference 00.10926.08.93.21, including VAT, with stock shown on those pages. Bucherer Switzerland displayed CHF 9,200 for textile reference 00.10926.08.53.01, including VAT and shipping, with availability inquiry required. Tourneau displayed $10,200 for a light-blue steel-bracelet version. These are market-specific listings, not a single worldwide MSRP; the manufacturer’s current product page says price on request.

The watch is a fit for someone looking for a dress-leaning steel automatic with a more elaborate calendar display and a movement feature that is visible from the back. The peripheral rotor is its mechanical point of distinction; the big date, weekday and power-reserve display make the dial busier than a simple time-only dress watch. Choosing between the two dial colors and strap or bracelet also changes the overall look and the exact reference to verify.
