The February 2025 launch included two silver finishes, a gold model and a gunmetal model. Casio’s Japan launch prices were ¥8,800 or ¥11,000, depending on the variant; those are historical suggested prices, not verified current offers.
What is the Casio A130WE series?
The A130WE updates a familiar digital watch format with an LCD that recreates an analog-style home-time display in the upper-left area. The screen also retains digital time and graphics tied to the watch’s functions. Casio describes the design as “an updated take on the gadget-heavy aesthetics of the 1980s, blending a retro-futuristic vibe with analogue-inspired clock displays.”
The series has an angular resin case and a stainless-steel band. Its mix of conventional digital functions and a simulated clock face is the defining distinction; the available product information does not establish performance differences among the four variants.
Which A130WE models are available, and how do they differ?
| Model | Finish and LCD detail | Japan launch suggested price |
|---|---|---|
| A130WE-1A | Silver | ¥8,800 |
| A130WE-7A | Silver with blue LCD background | ¥8,800 |
| A130WEG-9A | Gold | ¥11,000 |
| A130WEGG-1A | Gunmetal with orange LCD background | ¥11,000 |
The silver A130WE-1A and A130WE-7A share the same listed launch price; the visible distinction noted for the -7A is its blue LCD background. The gold and gunmetal versions occupied the higher Japan launch-price tier. These figures were reported for Casio Japan’s 2025 launch and should not be read as current prices, currency conversions or prices in other markets.
