Which Casio Edifice Honda Racing watch is this?
This review concerns the EFS-560HR-1A, which Casio Singapore identifies as “EDIFICE Honda Racing Limited Edition.” Casio’s Japanese reference is EFS-560HR-1AJR. The collaboration name is not unique: Casio also released Honda Racing models including the EQS-930HR and ECB-S100HR, with different design inspirations and features.
The later EQS-930HR drew inspiration from Honda’s RC162 motorcycle, according to Casio’s announcement. The ECB-S100HR, announced in September 2021, is a separate Championship White Edition with Bluetooth smartphone-link functions; see Casio’s release. Do not transfer their design details or functions to the EFS-560HR.
Design and materials
Casio describes the EFS-560HR’s dial as finished to evoke racing asphalt, with red accents inspired by track curbs. The bezel incorporates a carbon plate, while the band has a CORDURA fabric surface and Kevlar fiber inserts. Honda Racing branding appears on the dial and band, and Casio says the Honda logo is engraved on the case back. The watch uses a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. That specification and the motorsport-themed details give the model a more distinctive identity than a conventional steel chronograph, though the band’s unusual materials also make it worth checking carefully when buying a used example.
Size, power and functions
Casio lists a stainless-steel case and bezel measuring 50.2 × 45.4 × 10.3 mm, with a weight of approximately 84 g. Its 50.2 mm dimension is substantial, so shoppers who prefer compact watches should compare those measurements with a watch they already find comfortable; this review does not establish an independent fit assessment.

The EFS-560HR is solar powered. Casio states approximately six months of operation from a full charge until the hands stop. That is a manufacturer specification, not a measured battery-life result from independent testing. The listing also gives an accuracy specification of ±20 seconds per month.

Casio announced the EFS-560HR on September 29, 2020, describing it at the time as the fourth EDIFICE–Honda Racing collaboration. Casio Japan’s product record gives October 2020 as the release period for the EFS-560HR-1AJR and a suggested retail price of ¥46,200 including Japanese tax. Casio Singapore labels its listing old, and current stock, resale prices and seller conditions have not been established. If you find one for sale, check the full reference, the watch’s condition, whether packaging is included, seller terms and the warranty applicable in your country. The original band is a notable part of the design; do not assume a substitute band will fit, since compatibility has not been confirmed.
Verdict
The EFS-560HR-1A is a specific, well-equipped solar chronograph for someone drawn to Honda Racing styling: Casio specifies sapphire, 100-meter water resistance, stopwatch modes and a fabric-surfaced band with Kevlar inserts. Its large listed case dimensions and limited present-day availability may matter as much as its design. The available evidence is manufacturer information rather than a hands-on review, so comfort, real-world water performance and actual runtime remain unverified.
