Casio’s G-SHOCK G-STEEL GBM-2100 series was reported launched in India on September 7, 2024, with a listed price of ₹19,995. The octagonal 2100 design pairs a stainless-steel bezel with Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth Smartphone Link, but the GBM-2100 is metal-covered—not a full-metal watch. Casio India currently lists selected models at ₹19,995 MRP; that is not a guarantee of stock or the price a retailer will charge.
India launch date, price and availability
Gizmochina reported the India launch on September 7, 2024, at ₹19,995, with availability through Casio and G-SHOCK stores and Casio’s online stores. The report is the source for the launch date and initial retail channels; an official Casio India launch announcement was not identified.
Casio India product listings currently show selected GBM-2100 references at an MRP of ₹19,995, including taxes. MRP is the manufacturer-listed price, not a confirmed transaction price or proof that a particular color is in stock. Check the exact reference, seller, availability and checkout price before buying. What the GBM-2100 offers
The GBM-2100 is an analog-digital member of the octagonal 2100 G-SHOCK family. It combines a metal-covered look with Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth Smartphone Link. Casio’s product-family page describes the design as “Metal-clad daring meets sophisticated gleam in G-SHOCK watches with Tough Solar and Smartphone Link.” That is Casio product copy, not a statement from a named spokesperson. Metal-covered, not full metal
Casio describes the bezel as stainless steel and the inner case as glass-fiber-reinforced resin, which protects the module. The metal bezel is finished through forging, cutting and polishing. Solar charging and Bluetooth
Tough Solar and Smartphone Link are core GBM-2100 family features. Their presence may matter if you want solar charging and phone connectivity alongside analog-digital timekeeping. Specific app functions, charging performance and battery-duration figures depend on the exact reference and should be checked in that model’s official specifications or manual rather than assumed from the family name.

Those catalog results show ₹19,995 MRP for the listed models; lineups and MRP can change, and retail stock and selling prices are store-specific. - Compare the full model reference and dial/bezel color, not just “GBM-2100.”
- Check Casio’s MRP against the retailer’s current selling price and stock.
- Review size, thickness and weight for the exact reference; the published dimensions and weight above apply to GBM-2100A-1A2.
- Confirm case, bezel and band materials if those affect your preference.
- Verify that the particular model has the solar and Bluetooth features you want, and consult its official specifications for feature-level details.

If the metal exterior is the priority, distinguish the GBM’s metal-covered construction from the GM-B2100’s full-metal build. If solar charging and Bluetooth are the deciding features, compare the exact GBM-2100 reference with GA-B2100 models as well as with other GBM variants.
