Casio’s translucent G-Shock update is the GA-2100BM series, with three colorways: sky blue (GA2100BM-7A2), rose gold (GA2100BM-7A5) and silver (GA2100BM-7A8). The familiar octagonal GA-2100 shape remains, while clear translucent resin reveals the inner case and metallic-shimmer dials add color. Casio lists the collection’s core functions and specifications, but the available information here is manufacturer material rather than independent testing.
What changes on the GA-2100BM
Casio gives the GA-2100BM a translucent resin bezel and band, designed to let the inner case show through. The dial, hands and indexes have a metallic shimmer created with vapor deposition. This is a material and color update to the familiar octagonal GA-2100 profile, rather than a documented redesign of the underlying feature set. These are manufacturer-stated specifications, not independent test results. The US GA-2100 series page describes the wider family as an analog-digital line launched in 2019, with Carbon Core Guard construction and an approximately 11.8 mm profile; Casio attributes the slim profile to that construction. Casio’s similarly themed SUMMER REFLECTION release is a separate GMA-P2100SR family, not the GA-2100BM. Its Singapore announcement covers GMA-P2100SR-1A and GMA-P2100SR-7A, with translucent resin and vapor-deposited glass. Casio Singapore said those models would be available online and in stores there on 1 May 2026, following a 23 April 2026 announcement. Those dates refer only to that Singapore release; they do not establish a GA-2100BM launch date or current stock. Casio Singapore’s SUMMER REFLECTION announcement covers that separate line.
