Before describing what your Casio Oceanus can do, identify its exact model number. Oceanus is a family of watches, not one specification: the feature set, operating instructions and service options depend on the particular watch that arrived.
Which Casio Oceanus model is this?
Check the caseback, paperwork, box label or order record for the model number. Casio’s Oceanus collection groups watches into Manta, Classic, CACHALOT and three-hand models. The title alone does not establish which one you received, so avoid assigning a specification or buying link until you have confirmed the number.

Casio’s own history dates the OCW-500 to November 2004, describing it as the first full-metal chronograph radio-wave solar watch with world time. The company dates the first Manta, model OCW-S1000, to June 2007. These are Casio’s manufacturer-history claims, not independent comparisons. Casio’s Oceanus history
What features does your Oceanus have?
Use the exact model page and its manual to verify materials, dimensions, timekeeping, charging, world time and water resistance. Casio’s technology overview discusses features such as titanium, sapphire glass, Bluetooth, radio time adjustment, GPS and Tough Solar, but explicitly cautions that technologies are not used in every watch and directs readers to each model’s information.
#1 Best Overall
- Stainless Steel case with Black Resin Band
- Black Dial with date window at 3 O'clock
- Luminous markers and hour hands; sweep second hand
- Anti-reverse bezel
- Water-resistant to 200 M (660 feet)
For example, Casio’s module 5701 guide covers phone linking, solar charging, time-signal reception, world time and a stopwatch. Those functions apply to a watch confirmed to use module 5701, not automatically to the Oceanus line as a whole. Casio module 5701 guide
World-time operation also varies. Casio describes simultaneous time display for two cities and Smart Access on specified Oceanus models; check the model’s own documentation before expecting either feature. Casio Oceanus technology information

How do you set up the watch?
Once you have the model or module number, follow its manual rather than a guide for a similar-looking Oceanus. The controls and available setup functions can differ across models.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Confirm the model or module. Read the caseback and compare it with the paperwork or order record.
- Open the matching Casio manual. Use Casio’s watch support page to locate instructions for the confirmed module.
- Follow that manual for charging, time setting and any phone or time-signal connection. Do not assume your watch supports Bluetooth, radio reception or another method unless its documentation says so.
Where can you get an Oceanus watch serviced?
Service availability depends on your region. Casio Japan describes Oceanus repair and inspection support, including an inspection package with internal checks and exterior cleaning. That is a Japan-specific service path; confirm availability with Casio in your own region before arranging service. Casio Japan repair and inspection information
