What makes the OCW-S6000SW-2A distinctive?
Its defining feature is the sapphire bezel. Casio describes a thick sapphire crystal ring shaped as a 24-sided polygon, then given spiral-cut curves across its facets. The company says the treatment creates a three-dimensional form inspired by wave whirlpools; the underside receives gradation deposition. The surrounding details support the blue-and-pink-gold color scheme. Casio specifies a frameless titanium case intended to let light enter the bezel from the sides, a blue ion-plated inner frame, and a pink-gold ion-plated crown. The dial has a light-to-blue deposition gradient, with pink-gold accents on the 12 o’clock index, seconds hand, and date display. The crystal also has anti-reflective coating on both sides, according to the Japanese specification page.

How its timekeeping and connected functions work
The watch combines light-powered operation with two ways to correct time. Tough Solar supplies power, Multiband 6 receives radio time signals, and Bluetooth links the watch to the CASIO WATCHES app. Casio lists radio reception for Japan, North America, Europe, and China; the feature’s usefulness depends on signal availability where the watch is used.
- Phone-linked functions: Casio lists automatic time correction, easy settings, watch-status display, and phone finder in the app.
- World time: The watch’s body-function listing names 27 cities. Separately, Casio describes app-set world time for about 300 cities. These figures refer to different functions and should not be conflated.

How the SW-2A differs from the original OCW-S6000
The OCW-S6000SW-2A is a later variant, not a relabeling of the 2021 base model. Casio announced the base OCW-S6000 on September 15, 2021, with a scheduled October 15 launch. Its release described a 24-facet sapphire bezel, titanium case, 8.7 mm thickness, and Japanese launch price of ¥275,000 including tax. Casio Japan dates the SW-2A to June 2023 and lists it at 9.2 mm thick, with a ¥363,000 Japanese suggested price including tax. What the official specifications do—and do not—tell you
The published figures establish the watch’s listed dimensions, materials, functions, and design intent. They do not establish how comfortable the bracelet feels on a particular wrist, how legible the dial is in varied lighting, how reliably Bluetooth performs in daily use, or how the watch fares in independent scratch, accuracy, or water-resistance testing. Casio’s 10-bar rating is a specification, not evidence of an independent water test.
Likewise, Casio’s worldwide limit of 350 pieces identifies the stated production limit; it does not establish present-day availability or resale value. The ¥363,000 figure is the Japanese suggested retail price shown on Casio Japan’s product page, not a verified current price in other markets.
