Casio’s Mystic Forest series comprises four G-SHOCK models: GA-2100FR-3A, GA-2100FR-5A, GA-2200MFR-3A and GA-2200MFR-5A. The GA-2100FR versions have the slimmer octagonal design; the GA-2200MFR versions use the rounder GA-2200 case and inset dials. In both families, -3A means green and yellow, while -5A means brown and orange.
Which watches are in the Mystic Forest series?
Casio introduced the series in 2021 with two case families and two colorways per family. The colors are mixed into the resin used for the bezels and bands, rather than being a single flat color. Casio describes the forest-inspired palette through imagery including fireflies and a campfire at twilight.

How do the GA-2100FR and GA-2200MFR differ?
GA-2100FR: octagonal and relatively slim
The GA-2100FR-3A and GA-2100FR-5A use the GA-2100’s recognizable octagonal case profile. For the GA-2100FR-3A, Casio Europe lists dimensions of 48.5 × 45.4 × 11.8 mm, while Casio Japan lists a weight of 51 g for its Japan-market GA-2100FR-3AJF. Regional product pages identify the exact SKU, so check the page for the version being considered rather than assuming every suffix or market has identical published specifications. GA-2200MFR: rounder case and inset dials
The GA-2200MFR-3A and GA-2200MFR-5A use the more circular GA-2200 design and have distinctive inset dials. Casio’s consulted launch and collection pages do not provide a complete model-by-model specification table for this family, so the GA-2100FR measurements above should not be applied to it.

When did the series launch, and is it still available?
Casio Singapore published its launch announcement on 7 December 2021, stating that the complete series would be available online and in stores from 25 December 2021. That is a historical Singapore-market schedule, not a current stock listing or a worldwide release date. Casio Japan lists a November 2021 release for the specific GA-2100FR-3AJF and marks that SKU discontinued; this status should not be extended to the other variants or to other markets.
The consulted sources do not establish current prices or inventory. To check availability, search using the full model number and confirm the seller’s region, exact suffix and stock status. A listing for one colorway or regional SKU does not establish availability of the other three.
