Yes—but the year matters. Casio announced that its CRW-001 ring watch would go on sale in the United States through Casio.com on December 26, 2024, at an original announced price of $120. That was a past launch date, not an upcoming December 26, 2026 release.
Casio still lists the silver CRW001-1 on its U.S. website, but an active product page does not prove that the watch is currently in stock or that its 2024 launch price remains available. Check the live product page and Casio’s store locator before buying.

What is Casio’s CRW-001 ring watch?
The CRW-001 is a working miniature digital watch built into a full-metal ring. It is not a smart ring, fitness tracker, or connected wearable: there is no phone app, health monitoring, notification system, or payment function.
The concept commemorates Casio’s 50th anniversary of watchmaking and references the company’s historical ring-shaped “yubiwa pipe” concept from 1946. Casio says the watch module is approximately one-tenth the size of a conventional watch module.

Casio America’s original announcement is available through PR Newswire. The $120 figure should be described as the original U.S. launch price, not as a confirmed current price.
Was the U.S. launch a lottery?
Casio’s U.S. announcement described a direct online release on December 26, 2024. Casio later reported in corporate materials that ring watches were sold through lottery-based sales on the official website and that entries exceeded expectations.

Demand was evidently strong, but there is no verified basis here for claiming that the U.S. model sold out instantly everywhere, that production was capped at a particular number, or that it will never be restocked.

These specifications come from Casio’s official product information. “Water resistant” should not be read as waterproof or as a recommendation for swimming, diving, showering, or heavy water exposure. It also should not be confused with the shock-resistant positioning of a conventional G-SHOCK.

Size and fit: the biggest practical limitation
The standard ring has an inner diameter of approximately 20 mm, an approximate circumference of 62.8 mm, and an approximate U.S. ring size of 10.5. Casio includes spacers for smaller fits measuring approximately 19 mm and 18 mm in inner diameter.
The ring is not conventionally adjustable, and the spacers do not make it a universal-size product. Measure the intended finger before purchasing. Fit can also change with temperature, swelling, finger choice, and whether you plan to wear it on the index, middle, or ring finger.
Buyers with substantially smaller or larger fingers should treat fit as a deal-breaker rather than assuming the watch can be resized like a normal metal ring.
CRW-001 versus a smart ring
The CRW-001 is best understood as a novelty digital watch worn as jewelry. It operates independently, shows the time on a physical display, and uses physical buttons. It does not track sleep, heart rate, activity, temperature, or other health data. It cannot display phone notifications and cannot make contactless payments.
