The updated Certina DS Action Diver 38mm is a collection of distinct releases, not one watch with identical specifications across every reference. Certina announced the Powermatic 80 version in November 2025, then expanded the range with three grade 2 titanium color editions in April 2026. The titanium references add material and color choices; dimensions and other details should be checked against the exact reference number.
What changed, and when?
November 2025: Powermatic 80 update
Certina announced the DS Action Diver 38mm Powermatic 80 on 13 November 2025. The company lists an 80-hour power reserve, a Nivachron balance spring, 300 m water resistance, a ceramic bezel and its enhanced DS Concept Extreme Shock Resistance system. Certina also states that the announced model is ISO 6425 certified. Read Certina’s 2025 announcement.
April 2026: titanium editions
On 30 April 2026, Certina announced three DS Action Diver 38mm Titanium summer editions. The release specifies grade 2 titanium and ceramic bezels, with color treatments in pink Flamingo, turquoise, and blue with orange luminous details. This is a later expansion of the 38mm range, not the date of the Powermatic 80 launch. Read Certina’s titanium announcement.
How do the titanium versions differ?
The defining announced change is the grade 2 titanium case, paired with a ceramic bezel and three distinct color schemes. The release does not establish that every 38mm DS Action Diver uses titanium, shares these colors, or has identical construction. Confirm the material and dial/bezel combination on the product page for the reference you are considering.

What do the specifications say?
| Detail | What Certina states or lists |
|---|---|
| Movement and reserve | The 2025 announcement describes a Powermatic 80 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve. Current titanium reference C048.807.44.051.00 lists caliber 80.611. |
| Water resistance and diver standard | Certina’s 2025 announcement states 300 m water resistance and ISO 6425 certification. Its current cited product specification page lists ISO 6425:2018 for reference C048.807.44.051.00. |
| Bezel | The 2025 announcement describes a ceramic bezel; the 2026 titanium announcement also specifies ceramic bezels. |
| Case material | The April 2026 announcement specifies grade 2 titanium for its three titanium editions. Do not assume that material applies to every 38mm reference. |
These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test findings. An ISO certification or a 300 m rating is not a substitute for checking that the exact watch and its condition suit a particular activity.
Which reference dimensions matter for fit?
For the current titanium reference C048.807.44.051.00, Certina lists a 38.00 mm diameter, 13.22 mm height, 45.01 mm lug-to-lug measurement and 19.00 mm lug spacing. The product page also describes a quick-release system. These figures apply to that reference, not automatically to the full collection. See Certina’s specifications for C048.807.44.051.00.

A previous reference, C032.807.44.081.00, is marked no longer available on its Certina product page. That page lists a 12.20 mm height and 19 mm lug spacing. The thickness difference is one reason to compare the full reference rather than relying on “DS Action Diver 38mm” alone. See Certina’s page for C032.807.44.081.00.

What to verify before buying
- Reference number: Match the listing to the exact Certina reference, not just the collection name.
- Material and color: Check whether the specific watch is titanium and confirm its dial, bezel and luminous-detail colors.
- Fit: Compare diameter, height and lug-to-lug length against a watch that fits you; do not infer all dimensions from the 38mm label.
- Strap fit: The cited current titanium reference has 19 mm lug spacing and a quick-release system. Confirm attachment and compatibility for your exact watch before ordering a replacement strap.
- Availability and price: Check the retailer and region directly. The cited official information does not establish universal stock or a current market price.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
