What does the Synchronaut GMT offer?
The Synchronaut is the most fully documented example in the collection. Its 2024 user manual describes a travel watch with two time zones, a local day/night indication, and a date display. This is a practical feature set for tracking home and local time, rather than just a second hand labeled GMT.

These figures come from the brand’s Synchronaut CG103 manual, a document dated September 2024. They are manual specifications for the covered model, not independently measured results, and should not be generalized to the other collections.
The manual recommends service at least every three to five years through authorized retail or service channels. That interval is the manufacturer’s guidance; confirm servicing arrangements and expected costs with an authorized provider before purchase.

How should you read the brand’s production and accuracy claims?
Charles Girardier’s company page says it deliberately limits production to fewer than 500 watches a year, applies 38 internal quality criteria, and sets a −1 to +2 seconds-per-day tolerance. These are brand statements, not independently audited production totals, an external certification, or a published third-party test.
There is a separate accuracy figure in the Synchronaut manual: −5 to +5 seconds per 24 hours for the CG103/1863 documentation dated September 2024. The company-page hallmark claim and the manual’s model-specific range differ. They should not be merged into a single guaranteed rate or treated as proof of real-world performance. Ask the seller which accuracy standard applies to the exact watch being offered and whether the figure is a target, acceptance criterion, or measured result.

The company page also links limited production to the time and attention required for hand-finishing. That explains the brand’s stated rationale; it does not independently establish how a particular watch’s finishing compares with competitors. What does the award history tell you?
The brand’s history says the Signature Mystérieuse Fleur de Sel won the GPHG 2020 Ladies’ Complication prize. This is a specific historical award claim about that model, not an award for every watch in the current range. The cited material here is the brand’s own history; an independent award-organizer source is not included, so readers seeking primary confirmation should check GPHG’s records.

A 2023 Europastar feature reproduced in a GPHG press-review PDF reported that the Fleur de Sel series was limited to 40 watches and that more than 20 collectors had bought it at the time. The same article reported a 40-piece Magic 8 series with 30 sold by then. These are dated secondary reports, not current sales figures or audited company data; they should not be read as present inventory.
