Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 Bronze: 42mm and 44mm Explained

The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 Bronze began as a 42mm bronze dive watch with a brown Ombré dial, 300m water resistance and a COSC-rated automatic movement. It was announced in July 2023; by August 2026, Christopher Ward’s newsletter described Bronze Pro 300 models in both 42mm and 44mm. The available sources do not establish current prices or the full specifications of every size and configuration, so check the exact reference before buying.

What is the C60 Trident Pro 300 Bronze?

The original model is the 42mm C60 Trident Pro 300 Bronze Ombré, announced on July 13, 2023, according to Fratello Watches’ launch report. It pairs a bronze case with a brown lacquered dial that darkens toward the edges. Applied 18K rose-gold markers and a sapphire crystal over the dial complete the reported design.

“New” needs a date qualification: the 42mm watch is a 2023 launch, not a 2026 introduction. In an August 4, 2026 newsletter, Christopher Ward described Bronze Pro 300 variants in 42mm and 44mm. That confirms the later size range, but does not provide current regional stock, prices, reference numbers or complete technical specifications for each version.

Original 42mm model: reported specifications

The figures below are the specifications reported for the original 42mm watch at launch. They should not automatically be applied to every later Bronze Pro 300 configuration.

Specification Original 42mm Bronze Ombré
Case diameter 42mm
Lug-to-lug 49.3mm
Thickness 11.5mm
Water resistance 300m
Movement COSC-rated Sellita SW200-1 automatic
Beat rate 28,800 vibrations per hour
Power reserve 38 hours
Crystal Sapphire over the dial and a sapphire display-back window, as reported at launch
Launch price US$1,275 / €1,375 starting price, reported in 2023; historical, not a current retail quote

Fratello reported these details in 2023. Christopher Ward’s standard C60 Trident Pro 300 handbook separately describes the platform as Swiss made, with a Sellita SW200-1, 38-hour reserve, ceramic unidirectional bezel, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and 30 ATM / 300m water resistance. That handbook lists steel-platform sizes of 38mm, 40mm and 42mm; it does not confirm every case detail for the bronze release.

Choosing between 42mm and 44mm

The brand’s August 2026 newsletter establishes that Bronze Pro 300 watches were described in both sizes. The available information is not a complete current lineup or a model-by-model specification sheet, so use the dimensions below only as a starting point for comparison.

Size What is established What to verify for the exact reference
42mm The original 2023 brown Ombré model was reported at 42mm diameter, 49.3mm lug-to-lug and 11.5mm thick. Current price and availability in your market, plus whether the offered configuration matches the original dimensions and movement specification.
44mm Christopher Ward’s August 2026 newsletter describes a 44mm Bronze Pro 300 option. Lug-to-lug, thickness, movement details, dial and bezel options, strap fit, price and local availability; these are not stated in the cited newsletter.

Diameter alone does not determine how a watch wears. Compare lug-to-lug length and thickness against a watch you already find comfortable, and check the seller’s specifications for the particular reference. Strap choice, dial and bezel colors, and the watch’s current price may also distinguish the available configurations.

Do not confuse it with the 600m bronze limited edition

A similarly named official C60 Trident Bronze “Ombré” COSC Limited Edition handbook covers a different watch. That model is a 43mm, 600m limited edition of 300 pieces, with a 13.3mm height, 51.5mm lug-to-lug, 107g weight, C5191 bronze and a Sellita SW200 COSC movement. Its handbook describes each of its 300 dials as unique. Those specifications and edition details do not belong to the 300m Pro 300 described here.

Water use and routine setting

For the standard Pro 300 platform, Christopher Ward’s handbook says the screw-down crown must be fully tightened and sit flush with the case before water use. It also cautions against correcting the date between 20:00 and 02:00. Follow the instructions for the exact bronze reference if they differ; the standard handbook does not establish every bronze-specific detail.

A 300m rating is a stated water-resistance specification, not a substitute for checking that the crown is secured and the watch is in good condition. If water use is important to your purchase, consult the model-specific manual and confirm the watch’s condition with the seller, particularly for a pre-owned example.

Is the C60 Trident Pro 300 Bronze worth considering?

The original 42mm version is a compelling fit for someone seeking a bronze-cased diver with a warm Ombré dial, COSC-rated movement and reported 300m resistance. Its 49.3mm lug-to-lug measurement is worth checking against your wrist and preferences. The 44mm option broadens the choice, but the newsletter alone is not enough to compare its fit or value precisely with the 42mm model.

Do not use the 2023 launch price as a current quote. Before ordering, confirm the precise reference, dimensions, movement, included strap, current regional price and availability with Christopher Ward or an authorized seller. The evidence available here establishes the model’s design and launch specifications, but not today’s retail terms.
