- Full Skeleton Sports-Car Grille Dial: open-worked architecture exposes black bridges, golden tourbillon cage and blued screws; exhibition caseback with striped finishing and ruby bearings — a 360° mechanical view.
- Sapphire Crystal Front (Mohs 9) + AR Coating: scratch-resistant sapphire front, second only to diamond, anti-reflective for enhanced clarity; hardened mineral glass exhibition caseback keeps the movement visible from every angle.
- Ice Blue Luminous Glow: hands and 12 indices charge by light and glow ice blue in darkness; luminous accents on the tourbillon cage edge create a dynamic glow effect during rotation.
- 2 Straps + 5ATM (50M) Splash Protection Only: 316L 5-link steel bracelet + black leather strap (20mm lugs); safe for rain and hand washing — NOT for swimming or diving; 3-year warranty; wind daily.
How the Open Gear Tourbillon is laid out
The dial places the hours off-center at 12 o’clock, with the minutes indicated centrally and the flying tourbillon visible at 6 o’clock. Chronoswiss describes a multi-level, 42-part dial: its middle level is hand-guilloched and hand-engraved, while the upper train-wheel bridges are skeletonized.
The watch’s defining visual choice is its coordinated blue treatment. Chronoswiss describes ten shades of blue across the dial and the electric-blue CVD coating on the steel case. The brand’s product-page copy calls it “the blue hour.” These are the manufacturer’s design descriptions, not independent assessments of finishing or performance.

Movement and what the specifications mean
The C.303 is a manually wound calibre with a semi-skeletonized layout and flying tourbillon. The fact sheet lists a 4 Hz frequency, 23 jewels and approximately 60 hours of power reserve. Those are manufacturer-stated specifications; they do not establish independent accuracy or comparative performance.
The stated 100 m / 10 ATM water resistance is a product specification, not a guarantee that the watch is suitable for every water activity. Follow Chronoswiss’s guidance for use and care.

- Independently developed CAL9001 free-sprung balance flying tourbillon movement, manual winding, 28,880 vibrations per hour, 25 ruby bearings. Features high-end finishing including satin brushing and beveled edges, engraved brand logo with gold-stamped. Dual mainspring series technology delivers 80-hour power reserve (twice that of standard tourbillon movements). This technology ensures more uniform and gradual mainspring release, resulting in enhanced timekeeping precision and stability.
- The CAL9001 tourbillon movement features the exclusive free-sprung micro-adjustment technology typically reserved for luxury timepieces. This free-sprung system eliminates the need for a balance spring regulator, thereby overcoming the timing inaccuracies caused by regulator displacement in conventional mechanical movements. This ensures the watch delivers enhanced precision and stability in timekeeping.
- This tourbillon measures 40mm in diameter and just 9.7mm in thickness, weighing a mere 67 grams. Its meticulously engineered structure and radically skeletonized tourbillon movement eliminate all superfluous metal components, allowing the mechanical artistry of the free-sprung flying tourbillon to shine in its purest form. It is an exquisite, high-end tourbillon watch that is both ultra-thin and supremely comfortable.
- The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters, featuring a double-sided sapphire crystal and an Italian leather strap with hand-stitched detailing for comfortable and durable wear. We offer a three-year worldwide warranty.
