Citizen has announced two limited-edition Attesa Eco-Drive Satellite Wave GPS watches for an October 2026 launch: the green-dial CC4084-83Z Power of Green Flash and the purple-and-blue CC4085-81Z Power of Purple Aurora. Citizen projects a price of USD 2,515 for each and says each edition is limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide. The launch and price remain scheduled and projected, respectively; the announcement does not confirm that either watch is already available in a particular market.
What Citizen announced
The two watches mark the 50th anniversary of the Attesa line. Both use Citizen’s F950 movement and Eco-Drive light-powered technology. Citizen’s official release calls F950 “the ultimate movement for light-powered Eco-Drive satellite wave GPS watches”; “ultimate” is the company’s promotional description, not an independent ranking. Citizen Watch’s September 2026 announcement lists an October 2026 scheduled launch and a projected USD 2,515 price per watch.
Citizen describes each model as a “Limited edition of 1,500 pieces each worldwide.” That is the announced production quantity, not confirmation of how many will be allocated to any one country or retailer.

The announcement gives the two editions the same movement, case dimensions, materials, listed functions, water resistance, projected price and announced edition size. Their described visual treatments are the stated distinction.

F950 functions and timekeeping claims
Citizen lists Satellite Wave GPS, world time, a 1/20-second chronograph measuring up to 24 hours, light-level and power-reserve indicators, and a perpetual calendar. The release also describes Double Direct Flight: home and local times can be displayed, and the displayed times can be switched. These are details in the announcement for CC4084-83Z and CC4085-81Z, rather than assumptions based on other F950 watches.
- Accuracy: ±5 seconds per month without time-signal reception, according to Citizen.
- Power reserve: Citizen lists five years of operation on a full charge in power-save mode. The five-year figure applies to that power-save condition.
- GPS reception: Citizen says the watches can receive a time signal in as little as three seconds. It calls this “world-class” and bases the comparison on its own research as of February 2026. That is Citizen’s claim, not an independently verified result for every location or reception condition; no independent reception-speed test is established by the cited sources.
Case, materials and water resistance
Citizen’s announced design specifications give each watch a 44.6 mm diameter and 15.4 mm thickness. The case and band use Super Titanium; the crystal is dual spherical sapphire with anti-reflective coating; and water resistance is listed at 10 bar. Citizen identifies the measurements as design specifications and warns that the final design and specifications may change. Check the final product details for the market where you intend to buy.

Launch timing, price and availability
The September 2026 announcement schedules both watches for October 2026 and projects USD 2,515 per model. Those terms do not establish that the launch has occurred, that the projected price will be the final retail price, or that either model is stocked in a particular country. Citizen notes that product information and availability can vary by market. For a purchase decision, confirm local release timing, final price, and stock with Citizen or an authorized local retailer.

Compare the Green Flash and Purple Aurora on the dial and bezel finish, then consider the shared size, time-zone operation, GPS reception, chronograph and calendar functions, water resistance, final local price, and availability. Other F950 models can help illustrate the broader movement family, but their specifications should not be transferred to these announced references.

For example, Citizen US lists the separate CC4078-51E with time in 27 cities/40 time zones, UTC display, dual time zones, a 1/20-second chronograph, perpetual calendar, and 100 m water resistance. Its listed price is $2,195. Those are details of that US-listed model, not additional specifications or a price comparison that confirms US availability for CC4084-83Z or CC4085-81Z. Citizen US’s CC4078-51E listing provides the model-specific details.
