Citizen Europe lists the CB5945-45L as one reference in the series, but its overview does not provide a complete specification list for every variant. Check the reference and caliber on your own watch before relying on a feature or using a manual.
What the Citizen CB594 series offers
Citizen Europe describes the CB594 series as combining light-powered Eco-Drive operation with a chronograph and radio-controlled timekeeping. Its family-level overview lists these features; confirm the product information for your exact reference before treating them as model-specific specifications. The page does not state a publication year.
| Feature | Citizen Europe’s series listing |
|---|---|
| Power | Eco-Drive; 330-day power reserve (Citizen Europe, year not stated) |
| Case and strap | Super Titanium |
| Crystal | Anti-reflective sapphire |
| Radio-controlled time | Four regions: EUR, JPN, USA and CHN (Citizen Europe, year not stated) |
| World time | 24 cities (Citizen Europe, year not stated) |
| Calendar and displays | Perpetual calendar, day/date and 24-hour display |
| Chronograph | Stopwatch |
| Water resistance | 10 bar (Citizen Europe, year not stated) |
These are claims from Citizen’s series overview, not a complete variant-by-variant catalog. The page identifies the CB5945-45L as a blue-dial model with red highlights; it does not establish that every CB594 reference has the same appearance or specifications.
Radio reception is not the same as world time
The series page lists radio-controlled time in four regions and, separately, world time for 24 cities. The first describes the regions named for radio control; the second describes the watch’s city-time display function. A 24-city display does not mean the watch receives a time signal in every city or at every location. Citizen’s overview does not establish reception availability at a particular place.

How to find the right manual
Use the identifiers on your own watch rather than relying on “CB594” alone. Citizen says the caliber number is stamped on the caseback and forms part of the case number. Its manual directories let owners search using a caliber or product number, and Citizen Global says manuals are listed by movement number.
- Check the caseback for the caliber and complete case or product number.
- Search the Citizen Europe operation-manual directory or the Citizen Global instruction-manual lookup with the identifier from your watch.
- Confirm that the manual matches the caliber or movement number before following its instructions. If you cannot identify a matching manual, use Citizen’s guidance for obtaining a replacement instruction manual.
Setting the watch or resolving a problem
Citizen US says setting procedures depend on the caliber. The general support guidance is to follow the instructions for the matching caliber; it does not provide a CB594-specific button or crown sequence in the cited article. Avoid applying steps from another Citizen model. If the problem persists after following the correct instructions, Citizen advises sending the watch to its California Service Center for evaluation.

Start with the complete reference, then confirm the specifications on that reference’s product information. For a meaningful comparison, check radio-control regions, world-time city coverage, case and strap materials, crystal, power reserve and water resistance, along with whether you need a chronograph or perpetual calendar. The series overview does not establish how every CB594 variant compares with other watches, so it cannot support a claim that the family is superior to another model.
