What the Cal. 9051 movement offers
The Cal. 9051 can be wound automatically or by hand and includes stop-seconds, which halts the seconds hand when the crown is pulled for time setting. Citizen gives its frequency as 28,800 vph, or eight beats per second, and its fully wound running time as approximately 42 hours.

Accuracy depends on use
Citizen lists average accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds per day, measured with the watch stationary. The company cautions that actual daily accuracy can fall outside that range depending on wear time, position, wrist movement and winding. The figure is a manufacturer specification, not a result from independent testing of an individual watch.
Magnetic resistance
Citizen says the movement is designed to maintain accuracy when placed as close as 1 cm to electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets. The company describes the Cal. 9051 as providing enhanced magnetic resistance, but that statement is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test result in the cited material. What 10 bar water resistance means
Citizen specifies 10 bar water resistance for the NB6051-59L. That is the manufacturer’s rating; the announcement does not provide a model-specific activity guide or testing details. Follow the watch’s official care instructions for use around water rather than treating the rating as a guarantee for every situation.
How the NB6051-59L differs from earlier 831 references
The 831 name covers more than one reference. Citizen’s lineup includes the NB6010-81L, but the light-blue limited edition covered here is NB6051-59L. Most importantly, the 2025 model’s stated case thickness is 11.6 mm. Citizen’s 2021-era NB6010 specifications list a 40.0 mm by 10.1 mm case, so those earlier dimensions should not be carried over to the NB6051-59L.
