The CODE41 ANOMALY-T4 is a 41.5 mm skeletonized automatic watch built around a Sellita SW200-1 S movement. Below is what CODE41 specifies—and what to verify before buying.
What is the CODE41 ANOMALY-T4?
ANOMALY-T4 is the fourth version of CODE41’s ANOMALY collection. It is an automatic mechanical watch whose open, architectural dial reveals the movement rather than covering it with a conventional dial. CODE41 describes the design as a continuation of the collection’s visible-mechanics approach, with a sculpted case made from recycled stainless steel. Movement and stated precision
CODE41 specifies a Sellita SW200-1 S automatic movement with 26 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), bidirectional winding, stop seconds and Incabloc shock protection. The stated power reserve is approximately 41 hours.
The brand lists machine precision or adjustment of −7/+7 seconds per day and says each movement is tested in three positions. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent accuracy-test results. Actual timekeeping can vary by individual watch and conditions of use. The ANOMALY-T4 user guide provides the detailed specifications.

The open dial prioritizes the view of the movement, so its visual character differs from a conventional dial with a broad, uninterrupted surface. CODE41 lists luminous hands and indexes, but the supplied specifications do not quantify lume brightness or duration.
Water resistance: swimming, limits and care
CODE41 rates the ANOMALY-T4 at 100 m/10 ATM and says each watch is individually pressure-tested. The guide says swimming is acceptable when the crown is properly pushed in, but advises against scuba diving, water skiing and other high-impact activity. A water-resistance rating should not be read as permission for every water sport.

- Before swimming, make sure the crown is pushed fully in.
- Rinse the watch with fresh water after saltwater swimming.
- Do not use a leather strap in water; CODE41 states that leather straps are not waterproof.
- Have water resistance checked every two to three years, as recommended in the guide.
Water resistance can be affected by wear and the condition of seals. Follow the user guide’s limits rather than treating the 100 m figure as a diving certification.
Strap compatibility and changing straps
The T4 has a tool-free interchangeable strap system and a listed strap width of 24 mm. CODE41 says T4 straps fit its watches except the DAY41 37 mm and 40 mm models and the ANOMALY EVOLUTION 38 mm. The 24 mm measurement alone does not establish that a generic strap will attach correctly: confirm the attachment and model compatibility before ordering a replacement.

Price, availability, guarantee and returns
At the time the CODE41 product page was reviewed, listed configurations ranged from $2,600 to $3,180, and the release was described as limited to 100 pieces. Those are page observations, not a guarantee of today’s price, configuration availability or remaining stock. Check the current product page for the offer applicable to your market.
The product page states a two-year guarantee. Its return-period information is inconsistent, with one passage stating 14 days and another stating 30 days. Confirm the return period and applicable guarantee terms for your market and order before purchase. CODE41’s historical project page reports CHF 1,464,767 in pre-order amount and 957 pieces sold; these are campaign figures, not current sales or stock.

What to compare before choosing a configuration
CODE41 presents multiple color and configuration choices. Compare the details that affect wear and ownership, rather than choosing by appearance alone:
- Dimensions and weight: Consider the 41.5 mm diameter, 11.2 mm thickness and listed weights against your wrist and preferred fit.
- Movement expectations: Treat the −7/+7 seconds-per-day figure as the manufacturer’s stated adjustment, not an independent guarantee of daily performance.
- Water use: Check that the stated rating and explicit activity cautions suit how you plan to wear the watch.
- Strap fit: Verify that any replacement strap is compatible with the T4 attachment, not merely 24 mm wide.
- Purchase terms: Confirm the current configuration price, stock, guarantee and return terms for your location.
For maintenance, the guide recommends movement service depending on use and a water-resistance check every two to three years. It does not specify a fixed service interval for every owner.
