The Credor Eichi II GZLT999 is the Wako Ginza edition, distinct from the standard Eichi II reference GBLT999. Its reported signature is a white porcelain dial with Roman numerals at 12 and 6 in place of the standard model’s baton markers. Seiko’s published specifications establish the core Eichi II, but the Wako edition’s production total, current availability and current price are not confirmed by the sources cited here.
What is the Credor Eichi II Wako Edition?
Credor introduced the Eichi II in 2014 to mark the brand’s 40th anniversary and Spring Drive’s 15th anniversary. Seiko described it as an evolution of the 2008 Eichi. The maker’s 2014 announcement identifies the standard Eichi II as reference GBLT999, while specialist watch publication Time+Tide identifies the Wako Ginza version as GZLT999. Those references should not be treated as interchangeable.
Time+Tide’s 2024 account describes GZLT999 as a limited edition or “limited collection” sold exclusively through Wako, Credor’s Japan flagship in Ginza. That distribution and the edition-specific dial details are reported by the publication, rather than listed in the current official GBLT999 specification page. Credor’s current GBLT999 listing and Time+Tide’s GZLT999 article identify different references and evidence types.
How is GZLT999 different from GBLT999?
| Feature | Standard Eichi II, GBLT999 | Wako Ginza edition, GZLT999 |
|---|---|---|
| Reference and distribution | Seiko’s 2014 release and current listing identify GBLT999 as the standard Eichi II. | Time+Tide identifies GZLT999 as the Wako Ginza edition and reports exclusive sale through the Japan flagship. |
| Dial markers | Seiko’s 2014 release describes individually hand-painted markers; Time+Tide describes the standard arrangement as baton markers. | Time+Tide reports Roman numerals at 12 and 6, with a white porcelain dial and hand-painted markings. |
| Case | 950 platinum; official dimensions are 39 mm wide, 45 mm long and 10.3 mm thick. | Time+Tide reports a 950 platinum case and 39 mm dimensions. Phillips also records a 39 mm GZLT999 example. |
| Production quantity | Seiko’s 2014 release planned about 20 pieces annually for GBLT999. | Time+Tide says the quantity is undisclosed and its author could not confirm the total. |
| Evidence basis | Maker specifications and release information. | Edition-specific details reported by Time+Tide; Phillips documents an auction-catalogued example. |
The core design and technical specification are closely related, but not every published GBLT999 figure is an independently confirmed GZLT999 specification. Time+Tide reports that the Wako edition retains the platinum case and 39 mm dimensions; Phillips’ catalogue documents one circa-2022 example as platinum with manual caliber 7R14A-1 and 41 jewels. These records support the relationship without establishing that every detail is identical across references.

What are the Eichi II’s confirmed specifications?
Credor’s current official listing for standard reference GBLT999 specifies a hand-wound Spring Drive caliber 7R14, a 950 platinum case, navy crocodile strap, white porcelain dial, 41 jewels, approximately 60 hours of running time and everyday water resistance. The listed case measures 39 mm wide, 45 mm long and 10.3 mm thick. Seiko gives monthly accuracy of ±15 seconds, equivalent to ±1 second per day.
Seiko explains Spring Drive as using the unwinding force of a mainspring, as in a mechanical watch, while regulating accuracy with an IC and quartz oscillator. In the Eichi II, the power-reserve display is on the movement side, leaving the dial to its three hands and painted markers. Seiko’s 2014 release says the dial markers and Credor logo are painted individually by hand and that the process requires enough concentration and skill to produce only one dial per day. This is the maker’s description of the standard model’s dial work; it should not be converted into an exact production-rate claim for the Wako edition.
How rare is the GZLT999?
The Wako edition’s exact production total is not established in the available published sources. Time+Tide explicitly says the quantity is undisclosed and that its author could not confirm it. Seiko’s plan for about 20 pieces annually applies to standard reference GBLT999, not to GZLT999, and does not reveal the Wako edition’s run.

Seiko’s 2014 release also gave the standard GBLT999 an original Japanese suggested retail price of ¥5,500,000 plus tax. That is a historical launch price for the standard model, not a current price for GZLT999. No current market price is established here.
Is the Credor Eichi II GZLT999 available now?
Current availability is unverified. Phillips’ Hong Kong Watch Auction XVI catalogue documents a circa-2022 GZLT999, including its platinum case, manual caliber 7R14A-1, 41 jewels, certificates, manual, product literature, invoice, presentation box and outer packaging. That historical auction record confirms a documented example, not a current listing, sale result or available inventory. Phillips’ catalogue record is useful as a reference for that example, but does not establish what a buyer can purchase today.
