What makes the Credor GCBY991 special?
The GCBY991 is a limited-edition Goldfeather, Credor’s slim dress-watch line, distinguished by a porcelain dial rather than a conventional metal dial. Credor developed it with Hataman Touen, a kiln known for Imari Nabeshima porcelain. The reference combines that traditional craft with a contemporary, restrained watch design.
The dial’s visual effect comes from layered decoration: a cobalt-blue gradient and alternating blue and transparent feather motifs, with the indexes integrated into the composition. How is the porcelain dial made?
Credor describes the dial as a sequence of applied layers, with the blue gradient, feather patterns and indexes built up separately. The dial is fired five times. In Credor’s January 7, 2026 press release, the company says: “Throughout these stages, the dial undergoes five firings, creating softly nuanced blue tones and an elegant finish.”

After firing, Credor says the porcelain is ground down to approximately one millimeter, which helps create the dial’s curved profile. The thin, curved form is part of what allows the ceramic craft to sit within the watch’s slim dress-watch proportions.

Edition, release timing and launch prices
Credor announced a worldwide edition of 60 watches. Its Japanese release specified that 50 of those pieces were allocated to Japan, with a planned domestic release date of February 6, 2026.
Launch-period regional prices differed: Credor listed a recommended retail price of €15,000 for Europe, while its Japanese release listed ¥1,980,000 including tax. These are launch-era regional prices, not current asking prices or evidence of present availability.
